“Lake Muskoka sightseeing tour”
Reviewed August 7, 2013

Our Pathfinder unit ( girls aged 12-15) and some parents went on this 2& 3/4 hour cruise......we had an enjoyable day sitting on the top deck in the sun and seeing the sights........the Captain did a commentary as we travelled the Muskoka River and Lake Muskoka.. we could have done the lunch, but we had planned to do dinner at Riverside Restaurant afterwards

“Lazy day on the water”
Reviewed August 4, 2013

the Lady Muskoka is a comfortable ship and was safe for young children when we were on board with several nursery school classes (not a problem).
They provide a narration as they cruise up the Muskoka river and back.
There is lovely scenery along the way.

The day we took the trip the food was rather picnic style, with tables on ta shaded deck.

The upper deck is probably not accessible for the mobility challenged but I think there is no problem on the main deck.

“Fall Foliage”
Reviewed September 30, 2012

Muskoka Cruise is probably one of the best spots in Canada to view fall foliage and the changing colors of autumn leaves.
We read the reviews of Seqwun of Gravenhurst and Lady Muskoka of Bracebridge. The towns are only 15 mins apart. We decided to take Lady Muskoka cruise with Captain's Feast Menu. The cruise dock is hidden by Riverside Inn. You may have some difficulty to find it.
Though they mention “Reservations required on all food cruises” at the brochure there was no warning at the website. We could not buy the Captain’s Feast tour since we did not reserve in advance. They have comfortable table and chair seating. They sell light snacks and tea & coffee at reasonable prices.
The 2 ¾ hour cruise was very informative and explorative of Muskoka River and Lake with many picturesque homes in the islands.

“Very nice tour and much longer and more reasonable than the Seguin.”
Reviewed July 17, 2012

The Lady Muskoka offers a 2.75 hr tour beginning in Muskoka River and then out into Lake Muskoka.

It's quite a nice tour and is punctuated with interesting and funny quips from the captain.

It's much longer and cheaper than the Seguin and you get to see a lot more of the lake on this tour.

It's only 15 minutes from Gravenhurst and it is worth it.

“Nice way to enjoy the water and see the boat houses”
Reviewed May 21, 2012

We did a Captain's Feast lunch cruise on Sunday of the May long weekend. If you want a chance to be on the lake, this is a great way to do it at a reasonable price. The boat is older and could use some updating. It looks very early 90's with the mauve decor where they are trying to be elegant but it just looks outdated. I think it would be better if it were updated to a more casual nautical theme with blue and white stripes. Anyways, the boat itself was large and clean with two enclosed decks and an open air top deck. It was 90 degrees the day we sailed and it was not too hot with the breeze. The food was okay - salad, chicken, baked potato and carrot cake. For the price, $12 extra, it was well worth it. But it's not a fine dining experience. They have beer, wine and liquor available for purchase at a reasonable $6 per drink. The cruise itself was a little long for us. The time on the lake is great and you can see many beautiful homes. Unfortunately, it docks on the river so you have 40 minutes each way just to get out to the lake. That makes the last 45 minutes seem very long. I don't think I would do it a second time, but I'm glad I took this cruise. I would recommend it to someone who has not been on Lake Muskoka and wants to see all the cottages and famous boathouses of Muskoka. They also do a nice job narrating the cruise.
