We had a personal tour guide who was enthusiatic and knowledgeable about the house and its family history. It offered the opportunity to sample Edwardian affluent life in Canada.
A light lunch from the tea room was enjoyed on a shady patio overlooking the St Lawrence river.
The formal Italian garden is a work in progress.

We went in December to have tea, they have a beautiful setting and serve Afternoon Tea in a nice Tea Room overlooking the St. Lawrence River; we had a choice of several types of tea and dainty pastries. It was a real treat and we had a nice walk around the grounds afterwards.

Amazing to see how rich people lived in the 18th century. The tea room is a great spot for lunch or important venues..
