I have stayed in almost all the hotels in Brockville while visiting from Ottawa for business, and it was a huge treat to stay in a brand new hotel, albeit a bit overpriced for Brockville ($140)
My room was on the front side of the hotel (not backing on to Highway 401) and I found it quiet, with the exception of hearing a toilet flush in another room.
It was very clean, flat screen TV on the wall was nice, new computer available in the main lobby, pleasant service at Reception, and the breakfast bar (included in the rate) offered up pre-cooked eggs and sausages, cereals, bagels, yoghurt, etc…
It was also more secure than the Days Inn for example. You need your room key to get in to the side entrances to the hotel. Anyone can walk into the side entrance at the Days Inn.
I will definitely go back again.

I was at this hotel at the same time as this team and commend the staff for their patience and efforts to work with this group. The staff was faced with rudeness, abusive comments, threats and through it all they continued to try to be helpful. The mob like mentality of this group was nothing short of appalling.

My husband I were treated very well and found the staff extremely friendly and helpful. We will definelty be back and look forward to staying with them again.

Absolute worst service ever in hotel. Hockey team broke out in sunburn like rash while swimming in over clorinated pool without any compensation. Told not allowed to call 911 after we were told ambulance was already called. All charged full rate for rooms even though couldn't use indoor pool as hotel next door is about 120 cheaper without pool. I would't ever recommend this place to anyone. Please if this is the only way I can get back at them for the type of service they provided to our hockey team then take my advice and go to another hotel. AGAIN DONT EVER GO TO THIS HOTEL TERRIBLE SERVICE NO PUBLIC RELATIONS WHAT SO EVER NOT ONCE DID I HEAR A SORRY!

We take very seriously the safety, security and comfort of all of our guests. It is very unfortunate that this team felt that they were not treated fairly. The hotel team worked very hard to assist with the situation, but unfortunately with the exception of one parent, the advise and instructions were disregarded or ignored.

Contrary to the writers information, in fact the hotel readings were well within the limits for pool chemicals. Water sample taken to an independent third party for testing verified and certification was provided to the hotel regarding "balanced" water samples.

Further to this, the Ontario Health Authority visited the property on the following Monday and not only checked the pool chemical levels, but also performed a full inspection of the hotel's logs, procedures and testing methods. Again, we were issued in writing a report verifying that the hotel is and was in full compliance with regard to the pool.

Due to the fact that the children were never assessed by medical professionals, it is uncertain as to what in fact was the cause of
the rash.

While the hotel did close the pool as a safety precaution, based on the follow-up testing done, this was an unnecessary inconvenience for not just this team but all of the other hotels guests staying that night.

Had the team been more cooperative a quicker resolution may have been found.

On behalf of the hotel, once again, we are truly sorry that we did not meet this group's expectations.

We stayed at this hotel based on the ONE glowing review in Tripadvisor. When we checked into our room, I noticed right away three hairs on the bathroom floor. Because we had just driven 10 hours and were starving, I did not want to deal with getting another room or have housekeeping take care of the hairs. Besides, I do not get grossed out that easily. My tolerance level however had changed after spending a sleepless night because of the horrible expressway noice all night. Even my husband, who is a sound sleeper, woke up several times. I was mad enought to inspect the bathroom further so I could let the staff know about the hairs in the bathroom and asked why they put us in a room facing the expressway when there were hardly any guests there. I stopped counting after 17 hairs. Now I was grossed out. The staff was apologetic upon checkout and told me I should have let them know. Too late, I will never stay at a Holiday Inn Express again. Especially not for the price of 146.00 a night.

We slept in Brockville half-way through a trip between Toronto and Montreal for a night. We decided to try this hotel even though there was no review here for it.

We were amazed. The hotel is brand new, the room looked like it had never been slept in before. The pool and the whirlpool were great.

The room was a Suite and we really really enjoyed how it is decorated. (see pictures)

The bed was really, really comfortable. The whirlpool tub was great, the shower too. The breakfast was also great with eggs, sausages, cereals, toasts and whatever else you want. It was perfect.

The location though, is right beside the highway. It was ok because our room was facing the other way though.

Our family spent one night at this hotel on our way to visit Toronto. The nearby hotels were full and we were forced to book with Holiday Inn Express. There was no users comments on this hotel so I was somewhat reluctant about this choice. Fortunately, our stay turned out to be so pleasant I am recommending this place whole heartedly.

This is a brand new hotel so the facility is immaculate. The best part was the price. We booked through Expedia and the price was slightly less than the nearby popular hotel.
There is one thing I want to mention and that is we arrived in the evening and since the hotel was so new, it did not come up on our GPS. We were lost for a few minutes. The hotel is actually located right next to Comfort Inn which you can see readily coming off the highway.
