Beautiful beach and park and it was Poutine truck day!
Playground for kids to run and dogs and good swimming with lifeguards!

We really enjoyed spending the day here. The water was a bit too cold for my 18 month old son to spend that much time in it but he really enjoyed building sandcastles and the water park.

Located in Cobourg along the shores of Lake Ontario, this park is a real hidden gem! I stumbled upon it totally by accident.

At a quick glance it appears they have it all here, a nice flat beach, life guard towers (that are manned), latrines, restaurants, picnic spots, play parks for kids and even a boardwalk!

There are also Pokemon stops and gyms all over, and I assume plenty of Harry Potter stuff too!

We went for a swim in Lake Ontario and it was pleasantly warm and safe, especially with the presence of the life guard. Although we had to get out of the water prematurely due to a thunderstorm, it was still a wonderful experience and would recommend to anyone in the area.

apparently well safe guarded, water desgnations apply, sufficiently spacious for possibly a couple of hundred people, easily walked from parking areas, RV location nearby, ( looke d fully occupied) village well suited to tourists & locals, 3 km? off the main highway, eateries good, all pleasant people.
