My partner and I ventured to The Tremont this past Sunday morning. This was a find while trying to find a nice spot for breakfast after not being on a date for eight months after the birth of our daughter.

What a gem. We were both taken back by the vibe upon walking in. The decor, the wonderful staff and amazing food. I had proseco and Tremont eggs with trout. He had a cappuccino and the quiche. It was lovely. Great prices and perfect portion sizes. I was so inspired by the decor I searched out the light in the library.

We can't wait to escape again to share dinner and a bottle of wine. Collingwood is blessed to have this little treasure.

You will not be disappointed.

We admit that we are foodies and had researched Trip Advisor to select this place. Three of us had dinner last evening on a busy Saturday evening yet the service was excellent. The restaurant itself is housed in an historical building with lots of natural light and beautiful tin ceiling. We began dinner with a wonderful cheese tray which included a wine poached pear with cinnamon, preserves along with 3 excellent cheeses from Quebec and Wisconsin, apple slices and homemade crusty bread slices. The best two entres were the salmon with the mango topping and the lamb shank which was rich and very tender. The quail, while tasty, was very small in terms of serving size but the polenta was excellent. We finished the meal with a rich chocolate torte and ice cream with homemade caramel sauce; the two complemented each other well. We would highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning in the future. It deserves the #1 rating.

Enjoyed dinner here on a quiet Wednesday night. Wasn't busy the night we came. Maybe because it was mid week, maybe because of all the snow. Regardless it was the perfect place to have a quiet dinner after day on the slopes. Great atmosphere and service. We really enjoyed just relaxing in a great setting. Food was well prepared and generous portions. Highly recommend over options slope side.

My wife and I enjoyed dinner here last night. The place was quite busy and had a great atmosphere. The salmon had an amazing new twist which we both really enjoyed. We finished dinner with the best creme brulee we ever had. Service was excellent. After dinner we visited the artist studios on the second floor. The quality and diversity of the artwork was truly amazing. Definitely worth a visit!

Thank you sincerely for taking the time to write a review. We responded right after but received an email saying it could not be sent because we had included website info (for the building and artists). Please visit the tremont dot ca for information on our great building and area. And thanks again for visiting our restaurant.

Best regards,
Christophe

We did not eat dinner here, but by the look of the restaurant and menu we would definitely go next time we are in Collingwood. Really nice old home that has been renovated into a unique restaurant and bar experience. We sat in the bar and enjoyed drinks and jazz.
