Dined with many friends at this restaurant last Wednesday, June 12, 2013. We had the entire restaurant for our group. There was a set menu with a choice of 5 appetizers, 5 main courses, 4 desserts & tea or coffee for $30 per person. Very reasonable and all choices were tasty. The dishes available suited dieters, vegetarians, meat eaters & big eaters. I had an excellent salad with a homemade dressing, ribs that were super tasty, served with vegetables that were perfectly done. Dessert was a chocolate mousse that was wonderful. The wine was very good & very reasonably priced as were other drinks. The service was friendly, & efficient. A great place to dine!

Dropped in for supper on our drive south from Midland. A quiet night for business so we received lots of attention and pleasant, knowledgable service. We went for the prix fixe $33 dinners. Absolutely the right decision. Mussels had the perfect broth and not one empty shell in the dish. I had the pork ribs, my wife had the duck confit. Both superbly done and presented. Creame caramel could not be passed up.

Definitely due for a repeat next time we are in Collingwood.

Our 25th wedding anniversary dinner was absolutely stunning! The prix fixe menu had some great choices. The mussels were some of the best I've had including the ones I had in San Francisco! The duck had a beautiful sauce and the skin was crispy and savoury yet sweet. Creme Brule dessert amazing. Creemore craft beer on tap and some great wine too. Local trout available from an organic trout farm. Can't wait to eat that next time. My wife and I highly recommend this place also for the atmosphere which was French bistro mixed with some Sinatra. Simple great tasting food in perfect portions - great value.

It is a small restaurant that is always busy - recommend a reservation. The food is outstanding is terms of presentation and taste. The menu offers the option of a fixed price menu for $33.00 in the winter menu. Four choices of of appetizer, entree and dessert - high end choices. Would recommend the mushroom pate, mussels as an app, duck confit is an excellent entry and the Whiskeylicious chocolate Boca Negra or creme brulee are yummy. There is also a open menu with increased choices - steak and frites as an entree is always an outstanding choice. Vegetarian (pasta) options are on both menus. Wines by the bottle or glass with bar drinks as well. The chef is Scott Carter and the 2 waitresses have been there from the beginning - ours was Michelle and she was excellent. We have been here several times and are always ready to go back. It is small and cosy - food and friendliness make it worth return visits.
