We had looked at a few places on-line and found the prices to be very expensive in some hotels for this time of year. However, the Manor was very reasonable and friends in the area had good things to say. We arrived late in the day, but were lucky enough to get a seat in the dining room just before closing. Great menu, excellent service and the food was delicious. Staff was very efficient and friendly and we wish we could have had more time to explore the hiking trails, pool and spa. The room was quiet and well appointed although the second floor patio door opened to the roof which had pooled with rain. Will definitely stay again.

Room Tip: rooms on the third floor and higher may be a better choice and some have balconies

We just spent a week at Georgian Manor. I liked this resort. It has a good feel, despite the many defects of our accommodation.

Our two-bedroom unit was in need of upgrade, from furnishing to appliances to carpeting. Cooking utensils were basic, dishes and cutlery mismatched, doors didn't close properly, and a window screen fell off. Staircase in the middle of the unit got in the way of movement and flow. Despite a no-pet policy at the resort, there were dogs barking all the time.

But the grounds were beautiful. Our unit looked out to a treed lot where rabbits ran about. I loved the split level bedrooms, that in a two-bedroom unit we had three washrooms. The unit had tall ceilings, was clean, and actually very comfortable.

Though we didn't take part, the resort listed many on-site activities from yoga to tie-dying t-shirts. We made use of spa services, which were okay. Even though we didn't eat at the resort's restaurant, I liked knowing they had one, just in case. Front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance were friendly and quick to respond, fixing what they could. And I guess that's what made us not mind all the shortcomings of our unit.

The resort was close to several towns, activities and recreational trails. All in all, a lovely week at Georgian Manor.

I held a girls weekend for 8 friends this past weekend and we were beyond thrilled with the accommodations. We stayed in a large villa and a smaller townhouse, and had more than enough space for all of us (6 bathrooms between us all). The only disappointment was that the pool looked ready to go, but they couldn't open it due to needing an inspector to check it out. I can't blame the resort though, the weekend prior was snowing, and this weekend surprised everyone with summerish weather.

I will definitely come back to this place soon.

K McCormick.

Room Tip: Ask for the villas! It appeared to be at least 1400 sq feet and can sleep up to 6 very comfortably, with three full bathrooms.

Dear Valued Guest,

Thank you kindly for taking the time to share your feedback. We are happy to hear you enjoyed our villas! Our condo’s and villas are extremely popular. Most of the units are reserved for our members however we do set a few aside for the public to enjoy too. We are hoping to have our outdoor open pool to enjoy shortly. Georgian Manor looks forward to welcoming you back in the future!

Thank you,

Krista

I took my family to Georgian Manor Resort and was pleasantly surprised with the experience. The rooms were clean and well maintained and the staff were some of the friendliest and helpful people I have ever encountered on vacation. We ate in the restaurant and we were amazed by the value and quality of the food. The breakfast buffet was amazing and the price was great for an all you can eat breakfast. I would recommend any one going up to the Collingwood area to give Georgian Manor a try, you won't be disappointed.

I wanted to share with all of you that are thinking of visiting Collingwood, I recently visited Georgian Manor in Collingwood for Breakfast with Family and what a great experience we had.

The food was great on the Sunday Brunch, the staff were excellent from the stories that chef told us while making our delicious omelettes, to the staff of Chuck Doyle, Meghan Doyle and Kyla Doyle. The Food & Beverage Manager Cathy Doyle even made an appearance at our table which was so unexpected and so appreciated. It seemed like even the entire family was working on this fine Sunday morning that they enjoyed being at work and providing great customer service.

I wanted to thank all of the Georgian Manor Staff for their great service and I wanted to say Keep up the great work you all do to make a customers experience memorable.

Planning a visit very soon :)
