It was fun to drive up there... after we figured out where to go. I didn't read the previous review prior to going there in late August. To avoid getting lost, take Forbes Hill Drive instead of Park Drive.
At the top, there are actually two little parking areas. The first holds about 4-5 cars and the second holds a few more and is closer to the structure. Good to know if you are traveling with someone who has difficulty walking.
Further up the hill, past the lookout structure, there is path that takes you to another area that provides a view to the west. There are exposed roots and rocks. It is not a developed viewing area.
