“Good for lunch”
Reviewed August 7, 2013

Good selection of items for a quick lunch. Grilled cheese and the egg salad sandwiches were excellent. Nice desserts and fruits as well.

“Huntsville Heaven”
Reviewed August 7, 2013

Just outside of Huntsville on highway #60 on the North side (West Bound traffic side) is a wonderful little highway stop (The Farmer's Daughter) where you can grab some very fresh fruits and veggies grown very local (Depending on time of year) some unique food supplies like home made pasta noodles and other various dry food items, such as local spices and toppings. But you also might want to eat here. The food is made fresh in there kitchen from pizza, soup and sandwiches to home made pies and other very delectable goodies of all sorts.Very good tea's and coffees. Usually plenty of parking except on rainy days in the middle of summer, then best not to even attempt to go there unless you are prepared to wait a while. Just another reason why it is so nice to have a cottage up here. The Farmer'\s daughter would succeed anywhere. We are lucky to have it so close.

“Good fresh food and produce!”
Reviewed August 3, 2013

Not sure of the restaurant part but a great little market if your passing through and looking for something fresh. We got some veggies, fruit and a little treat (cake). Everything was very good and it was nice to have something fresh in the hotel room. They offer a lot of local products (jams, sauces, etc.) and freshly made food and treats. It is a little pricey but no more then any other similar food market. The carrot cake was great and though we didn't try them, the muffins and other treats looked fabulous. Would return if we are in the area again!!

Worth a stop for a coffee, sweet and some take home goodies like quiche or homemade jams or sauces. There is an eclectic mix of lunch items, fresh produce and gourmet selections. Well worth a browse.

Whenever we come to Huntsville, this is our first stop. Award-willing butter tarts. Everything is fresh and delicious. Fresh produce too.
