If you are looking for a B&B near Huntsville we would like to recommend you to have a look at Janet and Steve. Unfortunately we just had two nights there but they where the bests of our two week trip in Canada. Steve had many good tips for the Algonquin Park and nice restaurants recommendations. They served us delicious breakfasts. The rooms where clean and very comfortable. You can see deers just around the house. Go there and let you surprise.

it was a pleasure meeting you and your family. We enjoyed sharing our home and the Algonquin experience with you. We especially enjoyed meeting three generations travelling together and hearing about your life in Switzerland. Thank yo for the amazing chocolate! Perhaps our paths will cross again some day in the Swiss Alps.

We just got home from the beautiful area known as Huntsville in Muskoka and just couldn't wait to write a review recommending the bed and breakfast we stayed at called Algonquin Moon. Our room was spacious, clean and well prepared. The house itself is beautiful. I especially enjoyed an early morning read on the rear balcony while 3 horses in a nearby pasture played together. Janet and Steve do their very best for their guests. We had two days of yummy breakfasts and were provided with plenty of info of the area. Maps provided by Steve were all very accurate. We even had the pleasure of meeting some of their family members and I'm still laughing from all their great neices little quips. This was our first stay in Huntsville and our first bed & breakfast experience thanks to Janet and Steve and their extended family for helping make it a memorable one! Yes we would stay here again !

We had a wonderful stay at the Algonquin Moon B&B. Amazing hosts, lovely location, delicious breakfast (the blueberry pancakes were superb), relaxing and comfortable. We stayed there with my parents who were traveling in Ontario and it was perfect for us, in the suite with two rooms and adjoining bathroom. The location is great, so close to Algonquin and to the lovely town of Huntsville where there is a great choice of local restaurants. Janet and Steve are lovely and gave great advice about local excursions and food. Wonderful experience.

We had a great stay in May 2013! Janet and Steve make this B&B a special place to have nice conversations, enjoy very delicious breakfast and learn about the park and it's wildlife. We would love to come back! Linda & Hendrik

My wife and I were looking for a relaxing weekend out of the city and stumbled upon Algonquin Moon's website. After doing a lot of research on TripAdvisor, we decided to give it a try and WOW we were so happy we did! Janet and Steve were warm and friendly from the minute we arrived, offered us a beer and glass of wine and helped us plan our weekend. Their house is comfortable with a wonderful view out towards the lake and the bedroom we stayed in was spacious and the bathroom had a huge jacuzzi as well which was a bonus! Janet and Steve prepared breakfast for us each morning and kept us company with interesting stories from their visitors. They truly are the perfect hosts and we will be back again next year.

We stayed at this B&B and were very pleased with our experience there. It is situated just off highway 60, and is easy to get to. The hosts, Janet and Steve, were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the cottage room, and we found it to be clean, cozy and inviting. We were there on the night that the tail of Hurricane Sandy blew through, so we were without electricity for several hours, but that did not deter my hosts from making us our delicious breakfast that they prepared on their barbecue!! Very creative problem solving!
All in all, a very enjoyable visit and highly recommnded.

We are so glad that you enjoyed the adventure. It was not our usual gourmet breakfast but, at least, there was hot coffee to warm us all up. We hope you are able to return someday and experience our B&B under more ideal circumstances!
