Ideal location for any golf lovers as well as hikers or just good old tourist,'s like our selves.
The Hosts,Peter and Sue(not forgetting Nicky)are most considerate and friendly,
We(my wife and I)stayed for 4 nights , nothing appeared to be to much trouble for either of them, we were really made to feel at home and by the time we left it was like leaving friends. Not only did Sue provide wonderful breakfasts she provided a refreshing cup of Tea when ever we needed one (which being Brits was quite often) The views from the sitting room and the engaging conversation of our hosts made for a pleasant evening before retiring to our comfortable and relaxing bedroom.
All in All a delightful experience

I do not really have much to add to the previous revieuw. Except the breakfast was wonderfull and keeps you going at least untill dinner. The fact that the familysuite has its own entrance is nice. We were in the familysuite with 2 friends and there was more than enough space for the four of us. We tried 2 restaurants in town and found the Tall Trees to be the best.

The Algonquin Moon B&B is located near the west entrance of the Algonquin Park, so it's a great place to stay when you plan any trips into Algonquin.

The hosts Susan and Peter (and their lovely dog Nicky) are one of the most welcoming people we've ever met. They provide you with anything you need, including a delicious breakfast and information about virtually anything. They are also people you can have a serious conversation with, which is great!

The rooms are all very spacious and comfy (we recommend the log cabin room for that extra Algonquin-feel), which guarantees a great night's rest.

Be noted though that (depending on the season) the area is home to no-see-um's (sand flies), so just take some repellant with you (but you'll need it for Algonquin anyways).

Our #1 B&B in Ontario for sure!

My husband and I and our 2 friends visiting from Germany have fallen in love with this beautiful bed and breakfast. The location and scenery are breathtaking--close to Algonquin Park which boasts wonderful experiences of the Ontario North and to Huntsville, a quaint village with many interesting shops. The sunset from Peter and Susan's back deck looking out over Fairy Lake is enchanting. The whole atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming. Peter and Susan make you feel like good friends visiting and not just paying guests. They are warm and cheery and full of information of the area. The rooms are luxurious and comfortable and beautifully appointed. The gourmet breakfasts prepared by Susan are worthy of any haute cuisine restaurant and will get you through a day of hiking around the park. All in all, we four had a wonderful time and look forward to our next visit.

Room Tip: The Family Suite Deal is SWEET!!

Ooh, we had such a lovely stay. The best hosts ever were so kind and took so much trouble to make sure our stay was just perfect in every detail. Our room was beautifully furnished with a fireplace, television, king size bed and really lovely bathroom. Breakfast was amazing - Susan and Peter both pitched in and fed us a truly gourmet breakfast. They were so considerate about helping plan our day's outings. It was too cool for sitting out in the garden but we will return in the summer to watch the glorious sunsets. Thanks, Susan and Peter!

Every part of the accommodation is immaculate, cheery and welcoming. From the luxurious bathtub in the ensuite room to the spectactular breakfasts (did not need to have lunch!) we felt completely relaxed and comfortable. Sue and Peter complete the experience with their genuine interest in making your stay as enjoyable as possible. We are already planning our next stay at the Algonquin Moon B&B.

Room Tip: Each room is unique - choose what you need. All A+

This was the best accomodation (B&Bs, hotels included) we have ever stayed at !!!
And being a cabin attendant I have a fair share of experience.
Our visit to Algonquin Moon B&B have surpassed all the expectations and even hopes we had! We stayed in the Log Cabin Room which was amazing ! Really cosy and warm and not only looks like a log cabin , it smells like one too! Divine! As for the location, having deer frequently grazing in the front yard, night skies full of shining stars ( and Not electrical lighting ) and a peaceful silence where we could hear ourselves think, we have honestly found a piece of our very own heaven. Breakfast - cooked afresh every day, delicious, filling and presented beautifully by the most charming and friendly hosts. Expect to meet Nick ( very calm and lovely dog ) too.
Even though Canada is extremely large and has thousands of places to explore, this B&B will make you feel like visiting Huntsville and its area again and again...
Thank You Susan and Peter and Nick!
