We stated here for 2 nights over family day weekend. We had a double room with kitchenette (Rm 26). It was great - warm, cozy and exceptionally clean. There were 2 double beds, TV, well-stocked kitchenette with many pots & pans, cutlery, toaster, mv, coffee maker, kettle, tea towels and cloths, bottle opener etc - everything you need, hot shower with good water pressure, many towels etc... The owner was friendly and helpful, with info on local events and attractions. We spent 2 half days in Arrowhead Provincial Park (at the end of the street) and went snowshoeing, tubing and skating and one day at the Winter in the Wild festival in Algonquin Park where we skated, snowshoed and went on a wolf howl. We had long, busy and fun days and it was great to return to our little room at the end of each day and cook some dinner, watch a little TV and sleep soundly. We look forward to returning in the summertime!
