Feb 8-10, 2003 I stayed at Inn on the Twenty with a friend. We have both stayed at many inns and were delighted with this particular one.
The Inn is set on an historic main street in the Niagara Region. The rooms and the guest lounges were thoughtfully decorated with elegant touches. The room had two very comfortable beds, a lounging area and a fireplace. The bathroom was very large with an oversized jet tub and separate shower. My friend is 8 months pregnant and had the best sleep that she has had in months. Our dinner was divine and our table overlooked the picturesque Twenty Valley. The service during our stay was attentive yet professional. And to top it off, we were able to indulge in spa treatments in their new spa. I highly recommend Inn on the Twenty

I have just returned from a one night stay at the Inn on the Twenty and didn't have a good experience. I saw this property listed in Ontario's Finest Inns guide and on the Inns own website and it is very misleading. The Inn is actually on old breeze block warehouse painted cream, very unattractive. There are no facilities to sit and have a drink at the Inn. it should be listed as a B&B. (there is a lounge of sorts upstairs but it is at the top of the warehouse and is just a small room lit with a bright ceiling bulb, a couple of old sofas and a pile of old board games. Hmm)
The restaurant across the main road is where you have breakfast when
staying here. The room was ok but the bedding was awful. Paying this
price $189 per night I expect high quality bedding. The pillows were
horrible cheap things, like sleeping on a cotton wool ball! the
bedcovers were a sheet and one big old heavy blanket. The Restaurant
across the street is the only place to eat (also owned by the Inn)
Although the food was good it would also be expected at for $200 for
two. This overnight stay ended up being an overpriced boring
disappointment.
