We stayed here twice so far. Once in a Suite and the other in a Standard King Room. We were not disappointed either time. The hotel is kept extrememly clean in all areas. The beds are very comfortable and the heating/cooling system is very user friendly. The breakfast is standard continental but is sufficient to give you a good start to the day. The pool areas and fitness room is kept clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The best part is that they are pet friendly yet you wouldn't know that any animals were staying there. Very quiet rooms, solid wood doors, and high ceilings. Every attention to detail was paid when designing and constructing this property. Would HIGHLY recommend this hotel !!!

Room Tip: because we were travelling with our dog, we chose ground floor accomodations

Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Kincardine for business. Beds comfortable, Service great, Staff friendly and helpful. Forgot some belongings and all it took was a simple email and the items were shipped back to me immediately. Breakfast was good not just a simple continental breakfast that is in some chain hotels and allowed people to pack a snack for later in supplied lunch bags. Will definitely stay there again.

Extremely comfortable beds, excellent customer service at check-in, very quiet and peaceful -and a great rate. Very near all the local places (do venture downtown to Gilly's Feed Lot and Hogz Breathe - don't just eat at the Boston Pizza in front of the hotel).

We rode from Erin to Kincardine on the weekend of March 3rd 2013. The HIX was easily accessible from the trail network and while they don't have compound parking we felt secure in leaving our machines outside the building. So did the other dozen or so riders there ! The hot tub is very welcome after a day on the machine and the Boston Pizza 50 meters away means that a few beverages of adult nature can be easily enjoyed with no worries. The breakfast is enough to satisfy most appetites and was well stocked. Hopefully mother nature co operates again next year and gives us an opportunity to return to this well run hotel.

I have stayed here many times for serval days at a time and it has always been super clean, quite and the staff very friendly. I have worked night shift and the staff always made sure my room was cleaned before I got back in the morning, a real plus. Breakfast is the standard HIX and there is usually plenty of it. While it is on the expensive side you get what u pay for most times.

Room Tip: Corner rooms tend to "whistle" when it is very windy outside, which in Kincardine can happ...

Nice, new Holiday Inn Express. Good luck getting to it; the entrance is hidden behind the hotel, and is poorly signed. Otherwise, nothing sets it apart from other HIX. Breakfast was a stale, hard affair by 9am. At least non-artificially sweetened yoghurt was available. 7/10

I have been staying here for 12 weeks and all I can say is WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The staff are friendly and always willing to help. Trudy in the breakfast lounge was amazing. She was there early every day for our early breakfast and between her and the nightshift receptionist they attended to our every need is the wee hours of the day. Thanks to all the staff my stay has been excellent and I will be here for a few more weeks so I know I am in good hands
