Well to start when we showed up there was a camping trailer set up on our campsite, so we had to wait around an hour for this lady and her kids to move somewhere else. Once we had everything set up, we found out that there was a 19 birthday party next to our campsite. They were the most disrespectful people ive ever met. They partied till 4 in the morning yelling and screaming at the top of their lungs which seems like and understatement. So when we decided to tell them to go to bed they just sarcastically said okay and continued with their excessive noise. So then I had enough and yelled at them to shut up and they argued back, so I went to the head office around 12:30ish and no one was anywhere, i went to all the entrances and NO ONE was there, instead they give you a sheet of paper saying call security after 12:00 so i called this number and its not even available it leads you to rogers wireless. When i went back to the campsite the teenagers were gone and these two ladies were looking around for them, and we asked if we could help them find someone and they said that 3 teenagers were at the bathroom and smashed a toilet and ran away, the same teenagers that had left their campsite. So next morning we went up and complained to the people that they need to either kick these people out of bingemans or we want a refund. Then security came after these teenagers were throwing food and beer bottles at our tents smoking marijuana (with little 2 year olds around the campsite might I add) and moving our tents onto the road, and security did nothing at all but refund our money, So they would rather keep those ignorant people at their campsite than a family whose respectful to their camp. DOES NOT MAKE ANY SENSE. These teenagers also made other families leave the campsite. WORST CAMPING EXPERIENCE EVER, I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO GO TO THIS CAMPGROUND EVER. We ended up getting our money back but it wouldve been much better if they kicked those kids out and let us enjoy the rest of our camping.

Room Tip: Just dont bother going here.

based on the other reviews of this property, I was not expecting much

here is the good and the bad:

The Good:
- the water park is great, fun for the kids
- the mini golf is in great shape - fun course to play
- the Yurt is great to stay in - spacious inside - lots of room outside for the kids to play

The Bad:
- Customer Service - you have to go back to the office every day to get your new wristbands...they will not provide them in your envelope (for all days) when you check in, and when my wife went to pick them up for the family for one day, they said everyone needed to be present before they would give them out....in our opinion, management is there for money only - not for customer satisfaction, and customer service pays the price.

- Park Cleanliness - mediocre....the bathrooms were not as bad as I thought, but the trash in the ponds, and all along walkways was noticeable....

- Park Quiet time - was stated at 11pm, but Bingemans unbeknown to us has a MM Video dance party CRANKED until midnight....

- one of our largest issues was that there were DEADLY plants (belladonna) growing in abundance in many areas, including the kids wading pool. When informing staff at the nearby mini-golf hut, nothing had been done by the time we left.

So, overall, the park itself is fun....would go just for the waterpark, but would not camp there again, nor would we recommend camping there to anyone...

Our family just returned home from our weekend at Bingemans, and after unpacking, writing this review was at the top of our "to do" list. Having worked at a campground myself, as well as having stayed at this resort roughly 10 years ago, we could NOT BELIEVE how this place was set up, maintained, and operated. Although our site was easy to find once we knew where we were going, for such a large campground, street names would be extremely helpful in locating our campsite on the map, especially given the GROSS REPRESENTATION of the amenities (i.e. the decrepit "park", that consists of one slide on a small landing, that is only appropriate for children of preschool age). Upon arrival and set up at our site, after requesting we be moved, (seeing that the sites along the river were not "all booked" as we had been told a month prior), we discovered that the site boundaries were very ill defined. Had the people that arrived at a very narrow spot between our site (which appeared to be ours, due to the awkward placement of fire pit and table) and our neighbour's; not decided to move, we would have had to request another pit and table and crammed them into one area, or gone without.

The bathrooms, with the exception of the ones in the far back (not close to the bulk of the camp sites), were the most disgusting facilities we had ever seen! The bathrooms that are most accessible to the bulk of the campsites were the worst. Although there are 3 stalls, it was a matter of picking the least filthy, and often this was not an option, as only one toilet would be functional as an evident result of failing to provide sanitary disposal boxes in the stalls...DISGUSTING! On the first night, in the men's bathroom, the toilets were LITERALLY smashed, ripped from the wall, and the bathroom flooded. We understand that the park can not control the behaviour of ignorant, destructive individuals, however, the number to call after hours went directly to voicemail. Although the toilets were replaced by the following afternoon, no porta potty was provided during the closure, leaving only distant washrooms available for my husband and son (luckily boys have the alternative of a tree :-). The washrooms, and showers at the office were also very clearly neglected, with dead bugs littering the counters, water everywhere, and filthy showers. Another issue with bathrooms, is the lack of one in close proximity to the "camper's" pool, which in my opinion, would only increase the probability that the pool is used to replace easy access to a toilet..GROSS! Instead of what should be a change room/bathroom, even if only a small one, is a small concession stand (more money in their pocket, and inconvenience to their campers). What this park definitely needs is more staff to FREQUENTLY tend to cleaning the washrooms.

This park is very evidently motivated by profit, and not the experience and satisfaction of their guests. Although the price and allowance of more than one tent per site, is very appealing, it does not make up for the experience that it provides, and the lack of free amenities to it's campers (i.e. A PARK!) . Although we were very surprised that the store/office had essentially nothing to purchase that would add convenience to it's campers (and more profit for them!), it is likely due to their clear desire to have as little staff as possible. I waited for nearly 10 minutes this morning to purchase ice, as the 2 office staff were busy dealing with the complaints of other campers ( we are definitely not alone in our poor experience at this resort!).

This resort has the potential to be a wonderful camping, and family experience, if it provided the staff, and amenities needed to do so. However I HIGHLY discourage this park if cleanliness, and cost, play a significant roll in your vacation planning.

I had been to this resort many times as a teen and now having a family I automatically thought that we should go there for our first family camping trip. We have a 2 and 3 year old. It started off when we arrived and they stated that we weren't able to burn our own wood, I understand this what I didn't understand is them charging 8.00/bag for 8 very small pieces of wood that burnt really quickly. The bathrooms were disgusting, we decided to camp during the week so that it woudn't be so busy. I would hate to see the bathrooms on the weekend when the resort is full, my husband coudn't even take the kids into his bathroom as they were that bad. We wanted to take the kids to the pool at 7pm after dinner only to have it be closed, when I asked the front desk she stated that they close whenever it's slow, there wasn't many campers using it so they closed early. She said that they do this on a regular basis, I don;t understand this as I pay just as much whether the resort is full or empty and should have the same priviledgesto the pool just the same. So then we asked where the playground was and we were pointed to a little slide, completely rusted out and falling apart. We did bring them to the indoor playground which I highly recommended, it was very large and the kids loved it. The next day we thought we would bring the kids to the waterpark, unfortunately do to the little ones being to small they were only aloud at the splash pad, that was ok as it looked like alot of fun, what we were not impressed with was that we had tp pay 19.00 for our three year old and 27 for each of us. That's 73.00 for a family of four to use the splash pad, it is nonsense and their is no way we were going to pay that kind of money to use a splash pad. The next morning we decided to go go-karting, they said that two of the double go-karts were broken and only had one left that was on it's last leg. It was smoking +++ my husband had to be pushed in his cart because it didn't have enough strength to go on it's own. It was barely moving and took forever just to do one lap. We were extremely dissapointed with this place, we get a discount through Honda and will be sure to let everyone know how dissapointed we were with this place and that they would be better off elsewhere with little ones especially.

We camped here twice, once in 2011 and once in 2010. It's a nice park, however the washrooms and showers next to the campground office were horrible. The showers in the lower level were much nicer but quite a ways away to go. Also check the expiry dates on things you buy in their store, Over all the park is nice, the water park also, it's a pity the washrooms and store are neglected.
