I ordered one of the specials of the day - salad, steak & stuffed potato, and dessert, my husband ordered a seafood dish. The spinach salad was most delicious (the ceasar looked great too!), as was the steak. The steak was cooked to perfection (med-rare). The problem is that there was not enough food on my plate. It was a small steak, but it would have sufficed if the 1/2 a stuffed potato would have been larger, or a full potato maybe (2 pces) or more veggies other than a 1/2 broiled tomato.
We were 9 in our party, all ordering various dishes (not sure if any two of us had the same meal). I would say that 1/2 were full and 1/2 would have liked more on their plate.
We have been to the Olympia in Penetang on several occasions and always left with a doggie bag... it surprises me with the difference of the serving size between the two places.
Another little thing that was bizzare... on the table there was a menu with the specials of the day, but on the back side were the specials for the Olympia in Penetang.. it was not obvious that it was for the other rest. You know when you get your mouth watering with your choice, and the server says sorry, that is at the Pen. restaurant only!
