Really takes you back to pioneer days, had a storyteller tell us a Native tale, ate old fashioned shortbread, and drank apple hot apple cider.

We have visited the Wye Marsh a number of times, and always enjoy it. The trails are easy to follow, and you can pick the distance you want to cover. Quiet time alwys results in wildlife viewing.

My wife and I are nature photographers and enjoy visiting conservation areas all over Ontario and have been to Wye Marsh on several occasions. Every year we make it a point to be here. I have read a review by "booking123" where it says there wasnt much to see. On the contrary, there is plenty to see. This is still a wild habitat and the wildlife are not there to perform on cue for the public that visit. If you dont happen to see birds your not looking hard enough. The insects like butterflies, dragonflies, moths, bees, spiders and dont forget the turtles and frogs, they all make up what is Wye Marsh. Take the time to look for them too. Dont forget to bring a camera, lots of scenic views here. If your camera has a macro setting use that to capture photos of those insects. Bring a lunch and water while on the trails. You really need to spend a full day here to really enjoy it. Thats what we do. The trails are marked for easy navigation thru the marsh. Overall Wye Marsh is fantastic place to spend the day and we intend to continue visiting for as long as we can. Have a look at the photos to see Wye Marsh as we do every time we visit.
