This was our second visit. We needed a place to stay for a few days of respite time for my sister, who cares for our mother. When my sister suggested we go back to "Jacquie's" place, I immediately agreed that it was an excellent choice.

We booked the Queen room this time because we had viewed it previously, and the anticipation of spending time there with the sun shining into the room, and overlooking the water, only increased our pleasure prior to arrival.

Once there, we enjoyed the wonderful breakfasts, the comforts of their home and garden, the "unguarded" cookie jar, the conversations, and the company of fellow guests.

We will definitely return as soon as possible.

Room Tip: The Queen and the Suite overlook the water and both are spacious and inviting.

As many have already written, the Beacon Shore B&B is a marvelous weekend away--Jacquie and Bob are wonderful hosts who go out of their way to make your stay with them a wonderful one! Wonderful location with a view to die for, the Beacon Shore is a the perfect weekend get-away...and don't pass up the breakfast. My wife and I have been to many B&Bs and none compare to the choice/selection that Jacquie and Bob offer--their breakfasts are truly amazing! Thanks for a wonderful & rejuvenating stay.

I love this Inn including the environment, breakfast, room and decoration. It was beyond our expectation. Everything is beautiful and right. I think that I would like to book there in winter next year again.

Room Tip: Sunrise room is perfect.

What a spectacular view to wake up to the sun rising over the lake. The setting of this property is just beautiful and serene. The rooms are decorated with such charm. Jacquie and Bob are the consummate hosts. They are warm and friendly and are so interested in getting to know you. They both are so willing to share their knowledge of the area and Jacquie has put together a book of all the activities you might want to do while visiting the area. The breakfast was the best ever with many choices of very nutritional food. I am hoping we will be able to visit there again. It was a little bit of heaven for a few days.

Warm, inviting and simple delightful. Jacquie is a perfect host and treats you right from the moment you arrive, not to mention her extensive and accurate information of attractions and things to do.

Everything about this B&B is just right. The rooms are cozy, elegant and spacious; the breakfast are nutritious, plentiful and prepared to perfection; the location is wonderful and the morning views of the Bay are what dreams are made of.

The best we have ever experienced.

We were spending the Sept. 7/8 weekend in Midland and booked into the Beacon Shore Bed & Breakfast. It was beyond our expectation. We were greeted as we drove in and felt very welcome instantaneously. We were led inside & everything was handled very professionally and yet very personally. Jacquie & Bob are very knowledgeable of Midland & surrounding areas and keen in sharing their ideas to make your weekend as enjoyable as possible.

The house & grounds are beautiful. Lovely gardens and a large property to take a stroll through the woods or just to relax on one of their muskoka chairs watching the sunrise or just taking in the great view out to Georgian Bay.

We stayed in the Georgian Bay Suite which is a very large room with a private bathroom. It has lots of windows with views around the house & of course the best view out to Georgian Bay. Treat yourself to this room, you won’t be disappointed.

Breakfast was delicious with quite a few choices, so don’t miss out on staying at this quiet and quaint B&B if you are in Midland.

Room Tip: The largest Georgian Bay Suite is quite grand with a sitting area, large ensuite bathroom and great...

Really felt welcomed and warmly greeted at this lovely place. Gorgeous gardens and views. It's a little hard to find (at night) but worth it. Wonderful breakfasts with lots of choices and really solicitous and caring hosts. It is a relaxing and peaceful place, with just enough attention and enough privacy.
