Six of us went to this restaurant on New Year's Eve. The service was great, Lindsey was our server.
Three of us ordered the Canadian grade A ribeye Monday steak special. All 3 steaks were very thin, grisley and tough. We had a hard time cutting them with the steak knives. We expected better for $17.95 a plate.
The deserts and salads were good.

What a wondrous non pompous treat... Upon arriving at the Boot and Blade, my family snatched up the last 4 person table to be had.. We were starving and our initial relief in just getting a table was soon overcome by the delightful staff, the fast service and DELICIOUS food.. Wow.. the clubhouse was fantastic. It had REAL turkey on it, it was fresh and great. The gravies were supreme and the fries ... fantastic... and really the coleslaw, most persons filler was a glories addition to really any meal that would have it.. yum oh.. We will now be continuous customers, but have one question to ask ourselves.. What the heck took us so long to eat here ?????

Literally just ate the worst meal at a restuarant I've ever had. Ordered a club sandwich and fries.
The toast on the sandwich was cold and crumbling apart, the turkey was dryer than sand, and the tomatoes were so expired, I could literally tell they had gone bad before the server put the plate down. Zero flavour and beyond dry. I have been here for breakfast before and it was fine, but after today, I would never go back. My friend had the pulled pork sandwich and had a very similar review of his meal. The only good thing was the one really cute waitress - Sadie I believe - unfortunately not cute enough to have me ever return to this place.

This is country-fare. Whatever you order, there will be lots of it. The server was very helpful and friendly. Prices were reasonable.

Ordered the pork-chop special. Chops were uneventful, veggies were overcooked. No amount of salt or pepper could rescue this.

Restaurant is clean and country-ish with wooden bench seats and backs. Decor is all sports. At lunch hour the place was very busy. Sure to be that way at dinner again.
