This hotel never disappoints. Despite some room booking mistakes (that were quickly and professionally handled) the hotel was quiet, clean, in proper working order and well staffed. I loved having the starbucks cafe downstairs. The conference facilities were good - nice meals, excellent lunch buffet. Internet connection for a tech based conference was slow at times but adequate. Easy parking and great choice of restaurants surrounding for dinner.

The room was large and clean with sitting area and work area (with internet access) and king sized bed. It was set up for a business person so for us it was good for a one night stay but would not suggest for a family outting. There is coffee available in the room but no tea and only two creamers so only good for one cup. Toiletries are in the good quality range and they have enough towels. There is a Starbucks in the foyer but we were there on a Sunday and it was not open late in the evening (past 10pm when we wanted a hot chocolate). There is a Tim Hortons a few doors down. The area across the road is undergoing a massive restaurant development with brand names as The Keg and Moxies and independents as well (about 15 places in total) so there will be a great variety though only a few are ready so far. It is located on highway 7 by the 404 so is within easy access to major roads. We would stay there again.

We stayed at the Sheraton Parkway Toronto North hotel for a week, during a business trip.

Having read some of the previous reviews, we were concerned about the potential quality of the hotel but found it was fine.

Rooms (even those booked as singles) had double beds, which were comfortable, secure and cosy.

Breakfast was great, with the choice of paying a small fee for warm items an option.

Free computers with internet access (as well as free WiFi access) were appreciated.

The swimming pool facility was fine and large enough to swim lengths.

We had taxis booked on and off site, so needed eateries within walking distance. There was a good choice of restaurants, as well as excellent food also being available from the hotel's bar and restaurant.

Overall, we would recommend this hotel to business clients.

The Sheraton Parkway Toronto North is located at the "entrance" of Richmond Hill close to the junction of Highway 7 and 404 (which also means close to Highway 407). This hotel, alongside the Best Western have been in this area for quite a while but other players have joined the area over the last 5 years or so (eg: Hilton Garden Inn, some of the Marriott midscale brands...)

The Sheraton Parkway is often used by firms who wants to conduct conferences in the Toronto area - but don't necessarily wan't to pay downtown Toronto prices.

Front desk staff service is very friendly and efficient. The main lobby and common area is bright, open and relatively modern. It also features the business center - Sheraton at link. Rooms are located accross two towers.

The room assigned was ok as far as size but room layour was weird as it was "angled" - so it felt much smaller than it actually is. Decor in the room is a little bit tired - but well maintained. Bed was comfortable.

The bathroom was a little bit more disappointing as it has not been refurbished to the extent that the bedroom has been. It is extremely tired/dated and although clean, the stand-in shower is somewhat uninviting (stained old small tiles). The bathroom does feature a separate bath (with shower) and a stand-in shower.

Internet (wired) is available for $7.99 for 24 hours. Complimentary indoor parking is available.

The hotel also has a modern, but small gym with aerobic equipment.

One good thing about this hotel is that accross the street (both sides) provide access to 10-20 different lunch/dining options - mostly midscale casual restaurant chains and a few faster food options

Very unruly & noisy guests on same floor, security completely ineffective. Adults partying on floor instead of in their rooms, nothing accomplished by security, until one of our party at 11:30 P.M told them to literally "shut up" small children sleeping. We had three rooms, when you rent to hockey teams, conditlions should be spelled out clearly. I find the quality of your hotel is most definitely going down hill. The value is not comparable to the Delta, where we normally stay.

The Sheraton strives to ensure all of our guests enjoy a safe and peaceful stay. Unfortunately there are some guests that choose to disrespect other guests. All sports guests sign a "sports policy" which requires them to behave and prevents teams and parents from disturbing other guests. We have 2 onsite Security Officers who constantly monitor our guestfloors and public areas to ensure the safety and security of our guests. I apologize for the inconvenience you experienced and we will ensure that our Security Officers continue to proactively patrol to ensure we do not receive this complaint in the future.

Several years back we stayed at this hotel. We had originally booked for two nights but due to a family issue had to cut short our visit. The clerk on duty told us no problem and that we would only pay for the one night. The next morning on check out we were surprised to find we were being charged for both nights! Irene the front desk manager stated that the staff member who promised we would not be charged for both nites was a trainee and would not honour the promise. We asked to speak to the manager but to this day the manager has never contacted us! Combine that with the route march to the fitness facilities and this is a place to avoid. Because of this on our next trip we tried the Hilton and we are now confirmed Hilton customers with over 50 nights stay in the past year alone. So thank you Irene and the manager (name of course unknown) for introducing us to the Hilton chain.

I apologize for the confusion you experienced with Irene during your stay years ago. Irene has not worked at the Sheraton for over 4 years, and I would like to welcome you back to experience the new renovations and 4-diamond customer service our guests experience here at the Sheraton.
