Visited Tomasso's on a Monday night and it was busy as usual. The new addition is beautiful and spacious. Can't wait for nice weather so I can try the patio by the river. There were 5 of us at the table. 3 choose the same meal. The focaccia bread was delicious as usual, so different than any thing that I would consider focaccia. We also had a greek salad (odd in an italian restaurant) and calamari to share before our meals. The scallops and asparagus pasta which 3 of us chose was okay - breaded scallops when I expected seared and frozen overcooked asparagus which is odd as it's in season right now. Too large of a portion for most people and they didn't serve it in a small size and it could have been hotter in temperature. The other person chose seafood fettuccine which he said was good, but the shrimps were rubbery. The best choice that night was the mediterranean pizza which was hot with a crispy crust and delicious ingredients. We skipped coffee and dessert. We did have an issue with the bill. We were charged for whole wheat pasta which 2 of us would have ordered anyways, but all 4 had to order it as they had run out of regular fettuccine. The server wouldn't amend the bill so unfortunately her tip reflected this. It is a pretty restaurant, always busy, but I wouldn't say that it is authentic italian if that is what you are craving. They do make an excellent pizza.

My sister & I ventured out on a wet, Saturday evening & found this restaurant. What a find! It's so much larger than it looks & we were given a prime table at the back - facing the water. Our waitress was very friendly & helpful. We shared the chicken & broccoli pizza....delicious. Would definitely go back when in the area. Hopefully on a sunny day when the view can be appreciated!

There were 5 of us (4 adults and one I year old Grandson) and we booked a table of Mother's Day! The surprise being that the Grandmother and great Grandmother had no idea that Jackson was coming! It was a wonderful surprise! What wasn't surprising was the excellent service, the quality of the food and the atmosphere! Tomasso's sets the bar pretty high! I had the chicken fettuccini Alfredo with whole wheat pasta, the two grandmothers had California chicken ( one with gluten free pasta) and the other mother had a pizza from Jim's. Again we enjoyed the food along with a nice bottle of Chardonnay, some beer and a caesar! Thanks Tomasso's for making Mother's Day special!

10 of us had a family gathering. It was also the 1st time that I have eaten here. For starters the place is bigger than it looks from the outside. Parking close by could be an issue when the street or surrounding area is busy. The adjacent parking lot was full when we arrived. Daytime the lot requires you to pay for the privilege to park.
We were seated in the back facing the river. Very nice view. The patio was just in front of us, but not opened yet. The pizza's were good, as was the chicken parma, Caesar salads, lasagna, can't remember the rest that was ordered further down the table.. Lol.
Service was good, drinks followed freely. We didn't find it overly noises where we were, but I can see that if seated in the high traffic area it could be a problem. So do ask to be seated in the rear for a more quiet dining experience.
My only pet peeve was the wobbly tables, which required napkins to balance.
Overall we enjoyed our meals, and we will return.

The food was ok, pasta was over done. In no rush to go back again. the service was fine. May do well as a lunch place. May do well for Belleville area, But compared to larger metro area, ie Toronto Italian food, below par
