Description: Since our doors first opened in 1954, Canadian families have been coming back to Swiss Chalet generation after generation. Our rotisserie ovens only accept fresh (never frozen), grain-fed, Canadian Grade A chickens, because quality is all we know. So what will it be? A Quarter Chicken with fries?

“Popular local choice”
Reviewed August 4, 2012

Always busy so if you can come early or arrive after core lunch and dinner hours. The dining room was recently renovated. There is also a take out area. Plenty of parking. Reasonably priced with good service. Always keeping the menu items fresh with seasonal promotions. Located close to both universities and many local businesses.

“Chicken Chalet”
Reviewed July 10, 2012

Exactly the same as every other Swiss Chalet out there. Food was consistent. Chicken was cooked, came quickly, service was pretty standard. Nothing too good or bad about it.

“Average quality for a quick meal”
Reviewed June 5, 2012

Nothing really thrilling, even if the "chicken and shrimps" is nice and gives a little touch of originality. But the menu won't surprise you: chicken, fries, salads, wraps, and that's it !
Just ask what the Swiss Chalet (which has no taste of Switzerland) can give you: the meal you getwhen you have no much time and not too much appetite.

“A cut above in the chain”
Reviewed March 4, 2012

I have dined on many an occasion at the Weber Street North location. I have found both the service and food to be of excellent quality relative to other restaurants in the chain.

This particular location has undergone a renovation recently. The decor was updated and is mostly composed of booths now. The decor is fresh and bright.

This location can get quite busy. If you plan on going on a Friday or weekend evening, you might want to prepare yourself for a wait. This is not due to slow service but more a result of the popularity this particular location enjoys. The franchise owner appears to be quite involved in the community and supports many a little league team. Trophies and appreciation plaques adorn the entrance to this restaurant. This community involvement probably results in many a local making this location their choice for going out for a good family meal.

The menu is standard for the chain, but where this location delivers is in both quantity and quality of preparation. I have always been pleased on both counts. On the rare occasion when an item might not have been up to standard, the staff do their best to ensure the problem is resolved quickly. Staff do accept menu changes upon request.

The only downside is on the delivery side. Orders are taken through the chain's website and it appears service is on a different stream. I have experienced errors more often than not with this service and there is no real means of contacting this restaurant to get things fixed. Instead, one has to deal with a call centre that is probably in the US. Quantities are definitely smaller so if you want a full serving of everything, I recommend you go to the location itself and eat there.

I definitely recommend this location to anyone who wants a good meal , service with a smile and who also wants to show appreciation for the franchise owner's community involvement.

“It's consistently good”
Reviewed January 29, 2012

If you've been to one, you know what to expect. The portions are small but the food is good. I have never been disappointed here, they just aren't outstanding. It's quality fast food for sure.
