“would not reccomend this restaurant”
Reviewed August 4, 2012

VERY VERY dissapointed in the food.. espcially the price. cant believethat a chicken tika masala cost 16 dollars WITHOU the rice,, and the size of portion was MINISCULE compared to other restaurants. the onion barjies were soggy as hell, the sause they came with was not as promised yogurt sauce,,instead there was (i can only describe it as sweet gravy). the naam bread was really nice though. when i called and asked abotu the price and the size of the portion, the guy on the phone says," i will pass your comments on to the manager, even though he wont do anything" then he laughed...NEVER will i order from there again...AND They added up the bill wrong too...charged me for 2 chicken tika @ 33 dollars. 1 naam bread @ 2.99 and 2 portions of onion bharji @7.98..taxes were 6.89.. the total was 52.85 and should have been 46.84 !!!!!!!

“Good indian restaurant on the south shore”
Reviewed July 17, 2012

Went based on TA reviews. I must say there are better indian restaurants in Montreal, but this one is more than honest if you're on the south shore. They have all the usuals, butter chicken, samosas, naan bread, tandooris, the whole works. Butter chicken was good (not the best I've had, but good). Samosas are definitely not the best I've had, and I had to look hard to find vegetables in them. It seemed like there were more lentils than anything else.
Service was nice and efficient. Decor is classy.
The restaurant in is a strip mall on ugly Taschereau boulevard.
Several indian clients, which is always a good sign.
So all in all, you're already on the south shore, you don't want to risk your life crossing Champlain bridge, and you feel like indian food, hit this place.
Pros: good food, free parking, nice decor
Cons: strip mall on taschereau

“Warm service, welcoming, with very good food. Best naan bread I've had”
Reviewed July 1, 2012

Mysore is a franchise and the reviews for the Brossard one are superior to the one in Montreal.

The wait staff are very warm and welcoming. No shortage of smiles or conversation. They take pride in their place and gave good suggestions on what to eat for young kids. My kids still didn't take to the food, but it was new to them. Waiter came back on several occasions to ask if the food was fine. Appreciate the attention.

The butter chicken was silky and buttery, delicious with the bread or basmati rice. The curries - lamb was best, and the beef was very good, bit salty for me but others thought it was better than the lamb at my table. There was curries cauliflower and chick peas, very good. The mango lassi's were refreshing. Tandoori chicken was a bit dry, but not too much. Was good.

A standout were the naan breads - best I've had, very soft, chewy, bit thicker than usual, and delicious with very slightly sweet taste. Beautiful texture.

Desserts - Gulab jamun (very good) and a coconut based dessert - also very good.

Like the place - we'll be returning
