We received a warm welcome from the owner and were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and to see a nice garden in which to relax out front. The bed was SUPER comfortable, the linens new, the towels white and fluffy and very absorbent, even my husband remarked ;)! Mini-fridge, microwave, real glasses (for wine and juice) (not just plastic you see everywhere else), ice bucket, hair dryer, makeup mirror, lots of hangars, iron and ironing board and lots of space to store our things. Table and 2 chairs as well as one armchair where usually only 2 chairs in such a room; big screen TV with plenty of channels, though there could have been a few more English ones... Bathroom compact but functional with window for aeration we found useful to open at night instead of the front window to muffle mild traffic sounds. Breakfast solution to fact there is no restaurant on-site was ingenious but we didn't need it. Wine, beer and cold drinks sold at Reception. Very comfortable room and highly recommended.

Clean, comfortable, well equipped; walkable/bikeable easily (maybe a kilometer, through a couple of quiet residential streets) to P'tit train du nord and to the Parc Riviere du Nord. The owner Jimmy says he has been running the place for just a year; the motel seems old, but recently and completely refurbished, everything in the rooms is fresh; and he is conscientious about anticipating his guests' needs. The rooms are not fancy but well-kept and thoughtfully stocked; for the money, an excellent place; would especially recommend for folks most interested in the bike trail, and for families. There is even a public playground with a basketball court along your way as you walk (or bike) to the bike path and riverfront park.

Room Tip: For families: Rooms 24 and 25 have a connecting door.

My husband and I were travelling to Nova Scotia on motorcycles and chose this motel as a rest stop. We were very happy with our decision. Great curb appeal and nicely landscaped.
We chose a room with one double bed because it was so spacious; we're more concerned about having space for our gear than the size of the bed. It was clean and well laid out. The room had everything we would want (tea/coffee/hot chocolate, coffee maker, kettle, fridge, microwave, etc.) and then some (nice toiletry necessities).
The washroom is the only downside with lower end, outdated fixtures, rough towels and poor water temperature control.
Overall it is well worth the money and we would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Great friendly service, clean well-maintained spacious rooms with coffee, TV, wifi and fridge. We enjoyed the lovely garden for a supper picnic! It's close to town and you can walk to the "parc linéaire".

Friendly and helpful staff. I will recommend it to my colleagues. I stayed for a couple of nights only and wished to stay there for a longer time but there was no availability. Place is a perfect stay for a night or even long term.
