“Probably a very nice spot for dinner.”
Reviewed October 9, 2012

We went during lunch. The menu didn't offer a lot of choices, and the food was what you would expect at those prices. It seems like a higher class dining environment but we were surprised by how many families with small children were there. I would not go back for lunch again but would try dinner; they have a huge selection of wine. The staff were excellent.

“Great Food & Great Service”
Reviewed October 4, 2012

Seriously better than most of the nicer restaurants in Calgary.

Great food and a dynamic menu that seems to deliver a good range of cuisine without being too long and winded.

“One of the better Canmore eateries”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

We enjoyed our meal here. My husband's order was very good although mine was not as consistently prepared. I had the silver medal plate and while the fish and sauce was superb, the pork bellies were chewy. Oh well, I don't like pork bellies anyway so should not have ordered. The service was outstanding and our waitress was very personable. The atmosphere was very pleasant as well -- we opted for the dat night corner which was quiet.

“Long long long long wait for average food...”
Reviewed September 23, 2012 via mobile

We went for a Birthday celebration lunch today. It's been a couple years since eating at the Crazy Weed. We waited over an hour from the time we were seated to when we could eat. The staff seemed oblivious to the extremely long wait to receive our food. Almost seemed like they were hiding and trying to ignore the service problem. The food was average. I order a Thai Chicken salad and was expecting great Thai flavour - nada. Service is worse than ever and food quality has slipped.

“Great end to our holiday”
Reviewed September 22, 2012 via mobile

We discovered this restaurant by mistake , we had just arrived in Canmore and where out for a walk and stretch our legs when we spoke to a local lady and asked where to eat this was her recommendation , so we called in to make a reservation it was about 5 pm the guy who dealt with us was a little off hand , he said we could eat now , but I explained we needed to freshen up first he was not too impressed with this answer but eventually agreed to a reservation for Sunday night( this was Friday) We were cool with this and when the time came we had a great night with good food well cooked and presented and excellent service ( very handsome guy, with dark beard, lovely!) My husband enjoyed not only his meal but several malt whiskers , he thought he was at home ! So yes it can be a bit pricey but only if you push the boat out , we thought we had good value for money , well done handsome! Thanks
