“Soda Like It”
Reviewed October 21, 2013

We ate here twice during our vacation. I had the salmon sandwich/burger for both meals -- excellent quality and value. We also tried their orange soda and fell in LOVE with it. (Picked up a six pack at their store - the cherry is also a treat.) Great atmosphere and location right on the main street down town. You can eat inside or on the patio. It is generally a busy place with very LOUD music (be prepared to shout at your waiter). The wait staff is well trained and works very hard.

“Top spot to eat, says Candy Girl”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

We asked the girl in the Candy Shop where to go for the best dinner spot, and she steered us to the Grizzly Paw. Our teenage kids enjoyed the atmosphere, beer sample platter was a good way to sample the full menu. The homemade sodas were delicious, especially the Black Cherry, and they were bottomless, too. We had a selection of appetizers, our favourite the salt and pepper wings (very meaty) and the bacon wrapped steak bites dipped in maple syrup. Very busy Saturday night on the long weekend, but waitress was friendly and efficient. Would definitely come back!

“Good beer, decent food”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

Great atmosphere, nice outdoor patio, we loved our beer. I was bummed to find out that my burger had to be 'well done.' some sort of health code.

“Beer good food not”
Reviewed October 14, 2013 via mobile

Went for a late lunch and location was very busy. Got seated quickly and server was good. Menu was not exciting but usual pub food. Had steak sandwich added mushrooms and house salad. Mushrooms were strange and not flavoured at all-don't recommend for the added cost should have got onions but also an added cost. Garlic bread meh, steak ok and house salad good (had beets/eggs/veggies). Husband got salmon sandwich & fries. Salmon good but bun huge and dry - overpowering and fries were meh. Beer awesome! Had a pumpkin ale which was great. Would go back for beer and nachos as those looked good from what I saw - didn't try.
