“Try another place.”
Reviewed December 30, 2012 via mobile

Was not offered a drink menu, which is the first obvious thing however after that service was pretty awesome fast drinks ect. The food however was horrible. Ordered chicken burger which tasted if nothing but salt, they must be using super old grease. Wings were okay. There was a band playing that night and one more then four separate occasions locals came to our table inquiring how much longer we were gonna be and if they could have our table! When we got up from our table the servers started to pack up our table to clear it for the band even before we were done. Basically felt harassed by the people there and servers to leave our table. Would recommend trying a different pub before this one probably won't ever return.

“Terrible service, sub-standard food”
Reviewed December 29, 2012

The menu is filled with good pub-style food, but the food wasn't up to standard. The fish & chips were soggy and much smaller than the waitress indicated, the soup of the day was an unappetising, mushy chowder and I'm sure was at least two days old (most probably more, which wouldn't qualify as 'soup of the day').
Service was also terrible. We were never offered a drinks menu and the waitress didn't stick around long enough for us to ask for it. When our food arrived we had no utensils and the waitress was out of sight.

“Food, live music & getting drunk”
Reviewed November 28, 2012

The food here is actually pretty good. The beer selection however is not. With craft beer increasing in popularity this Canmore hotspot for nightlife still has very little to offer on the beer front. This is a late night venue and i always end up here when drunk.. Weekends expect to pay a cover of at least $5 to see whatever average band is playing that night. They do get some good acts coming through so keep your eye out for posters.

“Winter Wonderland”
Reviewed November 7, 2012

Each time I visited the Drake,it was like going home,I could go in during the afternoon and order a soft drink, for which you only pay for the first one,as every one after that is free, have a read of the various free newspapers on offer and chill out and enjoy the atmosphere and beautiful views around you and/or call in at night-time,have a few beers, listen to the music and totally enjoy yourself.
