There is no registration desk nor sufficient signage to indicate that reception is located around the corner at a different hotel. We wandered around for 45 minutes and asked staff who were of no assistance. Phone calls went unanswered. Once we finally found the registration office, we pointed out the need for better signage. This was never done during the week of our stay. I helped three other groups find registration..
We were told that parking was assigned. When we returned that first evening, our spot was taken as were all spots in the lot. The night manager could not say who was parked in our spot as the hotel does not record guests' car information. He said that parking was not assigned.

The next day was given a room key without being asked for some sort of identification.

The condo itself is nice but dirty. Clothes touching the rugs became filthy. It looks like the whole condo was cleaned with the same rag but never rinsed. There were two used condoms under one of the beds.

Not good value.

Room Tip: Do not stay here until management shows it actually cares

Thank you for your review, we appreciate hearing from all of our guests. I would like to sincerely apologize for the issues you faced while staying with us. We are currently moving to a remote check in system so guests will will be able to go directly to the suite they have rented and no longer need to check in at our Mystic springs location. We were there just one night and it served our needs. Check in was at a different hotel/resort. We drove around the block twice looking for the entrance. We were on second floor and walk up only. Nice place but needs a sprucing up.

We stayed here in room 101. Was told there would be parking in front of our door, but sadly someone took our spot. Was also excited to hear there was a hot tub but upon seeing it, did not want to chance it! There was supposed to be a view, but trees blocked some of it. The apartment has great potential but needs brighter lighting and the floors are so dirty. Our nephew's feet were black! Walls need a scrub as well. Toilets and tubs were satisfactory and beds were comfy. Furniture may be too large for the size of the place. Felt crowded for 6 people. Had good kitchen facilities and laundry. This place just needs a good scrub!

Thank you for your review, we appreciate hearing from all of our guests. The Condo board of home owners have decided to make all the parking scrambled. The furniture design is same in all our suites and we have great photos on all our sites but 6 in a two bedroom would be very tight with two adults on the pullout couch. Otherwise the usual this is not our normal cleaning standards if you wish to discuss your stay further I encourage you to please contact our Barb Scott at barb.scott@waymarker.ca

Checking in was in the reception of Mystic Spring which was just opposite Fire Mountain. We stayed in 3 bedroom unit with my family and friends. The unit can accomodate up to 8 people. Its self contained that at dinnertime we were able to cook. We mainly stayed there at night time. A little bit dated and worn out but the place was clean and tidy. It has been a comfortable stay. The view from the balcony was awesome. The carpark was not allocated to certain unit and most of our stay we have to park in the street. So far it has been safe. No ice machine on site for the drinks but the shops were 5-10 mins away from the lodge. A nice area to stay while visiting Banff and Lake Louise.

Upon checking in we noticed the apartment didn't appear to be overly clean with chairs at table & breakfast not inline. Under the table there were corn chips & crumbs the carpets had appeared not to be vacuumed with welts of dirt around the skirting boards a build up over time
The dining room table & bench tops were marked with some sticky substance.
The air conditioner was very cold upstairs & the underfloor heating still on downstairs & very hot.
My room was straight ahead downstairs one towel was previously used & scrunched up on the towel rail.
The apartment was 103 & we stayed on 8th July my son in law did mention we were not impressed with the cleanliness on check out.
The apartments are spacious & would be ideal during ski season & summer vacations with a deck BBQ area & outdoor courtyard.
So hopefully the cleaning can be addressed for future guests.
