We stayed in Burnside House for 3 nights split either side of our big trip on the Icefields Parkway from Canmore to Jasper.
Burnside is a very adequate B&B which is enhanced by the hospitality of the owner Colleen and her husband who are very helpfull with information about the Canmore and Bow Valley area. Our room was quite large and well equipped, breakfasts are also good in this establishment with a good range of options.
When we were leaving on our final morning, Colleens husband was very helpfull with directions to our next hotel in Calgery, going as far as downloading a map for us and marking the best route to the hotel--- a very friendly couple and a good advert for Canmore!
Burnside B&B is not an expensive accommedation and is very suitable for anyone who just needs a base in Canmore from where to explore the Banff/ Bow Valley area and is a more economical option then the pricier and crowded Banff town.
One small suggestion, this B&B needs more prominent signage, as it is easy to miss as one drives by, perhaps they are curtailed by some local law?
