LOOOVED the French toast. The ambience was special, like being in a museum. Cozy next to the real wood burning fireplace.

If I was visiting Canmore I would come back to eat and have a pint but you can rack up a bit of a bill, Try the Steak sandwich or the fish n chips. Good pint of Guinness

We ate here for breakfast after receiving a discount voucher from Silver Creek Hotel (highly recommended). We were the only ones in the place! You have to wind your way through hallways of this old lodge, following signs on the walls to find the restaurant/pub, at first it felt like we were sneaking through someones house. About half way in we began to smell the wonderful heady smoke of the open fire that awaited us. We sat down in the pub next to the glowing embers of the fire that I imagined is always burning in the lodge. The walls and ceilings are covered in history; old artifacts and photographs of past explorations in Canmore. Conversation at least would not run dry if you ate here.
The breakfast was standard, we ordered a pretty standard breakfast though - eggs and bacon. There were more exciting options on the menu such as orange and liquor french toast.
The service was good, although you're a little bit spoilt when you are the only one in the place! The staff seem to congregate around the bar to socialize for breakfast or something which kind of gave a bit of an exclusive feel, but it could also be a sign it is a good place to work.

I love the food at the Georgetown, but I must be honest; I did use to work there. The beef dip, Yorkshire pudding and of the fish and chips are my favorite options. Let's not forget that they have an amazing scotch selection and just love the vib of this pub.
