We stayed at the Ramada Canmore, Alberta the nights of September 4 to September 8, 2013. Room 352. When we checked in, they upgraded us to a better room without any extra charge. The room was large with two Queen Beds. It is a huge hotel with a large breakfast area. Breakfast was the best we had on our trip. Yogurt, scrambled eggs, sausages, pancakes, and the usual condiments, and more. Also tasty apple strudel and other cakes. They always replenished empty containers. Sure, you have to clean up after you. That was no problem. After all, this isn't a restaurant. Some people didn't and left their dishes on the tables for other guests to put away. We received our value for the money we paid. We would stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommended.
Thank you for your review. We’re pleased we were able to exceed your expectations and look forward to serving you again. Please call us at any time, we’re here 24 a day.
I stayed here for a couple nights, and the hotel was in good shape, and the room was nice and comfy.
The staff was helpful and friendly as well.
I found the carpets in the halls to be in rough shape, with some wrinkles in them. However the carpets in the rooms themselves were fine.
The pool and waterslide are nice. Kids will enjoy the waterslide, as it's a good length.
The only major complaint was parking. There is very limited parking on site, and with the amount of trucks and trailers that people generally travel with, we had a hard time parking on site. An enlarged lot or enforcing proper parking procedures (not taking 2 spots) would have a big impact on this.
There are also trains that run behind the hotel, so this could be an issue for light sleepers. It may be worth paying extra to have a room on the opposite side of the hotel.
