First off we went out for a special night together. We asked the girl at the front of our hotel to recommend a place. We ended up at the Iron Goat. Easy drive to get to, parking is a bit of a challenge to get to. Our server seated us right beside the fire place, wonderful! Ryan (from Manitoba) was right away to take our drink orders. When we asked for suggestions he knew his menu. We had the Seafood Grill, the Calamari was a bit on the bland side, although the Salmon was excellent! I had the Wildlife Meatloaf a combination of elk and venison. I do know wild meat and it was missing something, maybe a red wine sauce rather than a gravy. The desert was ok. Sweet Potato Cheesecake should make it pop. Missing some spices.
