“Good "pub grub".”
Reviewed June 21, 2012

We arrived at the supper hour and the place was busy. In spite of the crowd, the waiters were friendly and efficient. The menu was varied and extensive, and our order was served in a timely manner.

“Great view!”
Reviewed June 20, 2012

An absolutely fantastic view from the patio and great service. After a short, but intense hike we settled in for a few courses and beverages on an outdoor patio with a view of the peak we'd just climbed. To start we shared the bruchetta & spinach salad apps, which were both quite good. Bruchetta was fantastic and the salad decent. Just watch out for the beer prices. My guiness was $8.50 and the gf's beer was $7! To be fair I did get the full double pour and a well crafted shamrock :)

It went downhill from there when we split the calamari and mussels dishes. The calamari was rubbery and overcooked; if prepared properly the lack of seasoning would have been perfect. Expecting mussels in a nice white wine butter sauce as the menu portrayed we were both quite disappointed when they came smothered in what seemed to be a alfredo sauce. Certainly no wine and the over powering cream sauce did not go well with the seafood!

Overall a great place for a few cool ones after a hike and the portions were massive! Just don't expect anything even close to low end fine dining. A good pub, but not restaurant.

“Stunning Views & Relaxed Atmosphere”
Reviewed June 14, 2012

We dined here based on a recommendation from a family member. It's worth coming here from the lovely sweeping view of the Rockies alone. We dined in April so it wasn't quite patio season- but it was obvious from its choice location and stunning views that the patio shouldn't be missed during the summer months.

The atmosphere here was lively and it was extremely busy- reserveations recommended on weekends. We were seated quickly and benefited from fast and friendly service. Our server suggested cocktails- a moscow mule with strawberry vodka which was absolutely divine. Our meal consisted of ribs and pasta and was good value for the generous portions we received. Great atmosphere with friendly staff- not pretenious at all. We were torn between staring out at the mountains and staring at the tvs in the bar covering playoff hockey. Would happily return.

We ordered Maple Walnut Salmon and Kobe Oscar Burger. Both were delicious. The plate presentation was good. The salmon was cooked properly with the top slightly crispy. The maple sauce has the right amount of sweetness that enhances the flavor. This dish is paired with jalapeno rice and Asian greens. A lovely dish. The burger was moist and flavorful but cannot taste the lobster. The pretzel bread is good too. The service is so so. The view of the restaurant is great.

“Great views; slow service”
Reviewed June 5, 2012

Beautiful views of the mountains in this family-oriented pub. Food was okay but we almost left because the service was so slow.
