Lodge accomodates residents. It's not fully focussed on hotel guests. There is e.g. no option for breakfast and the restaurant was closed for maintenance - though it seems it was just closed because it is not profitable to run it. No problem though; a few minutes away you find Canmore downtown which offers great places for breakfast and dinner (pretty expensive), and in the same street the fastfood chains.
The receptionist is available and offers good, friendly service. The rooms have a modern interior and are clean. It seems all have a view on the surrounding mountains.
Rooms are connected via double (lockable) doors to the neighbooring room. It's not sound proof. Arconditioning is flawed. It's centrally controlled and caused our room to become pretty hot at night.
The hot tubs are available all evening until 10:00 PM and are hygienic and comfortable.
The price/quality combination is excellent in our occasion. € 90 per room for two, room with king size bed - 1m80 in width - electric fire place, large flatscreen, kitchenette and private bathroom.More
