Description: Oted most Romantic Restaurant in the Rockies, we are tucked off Main Street Canmore in a charming character house. Tapas offers the lively fusion of Spanish and Old World flavours created by our kitchen team. We have designed a menu of specialty dishes that are prepared to order from the freshest ingredients available. All stocks, sauces and desserts are made by our Chef Dan Purvis in house. Our menu offers gluten free and vegetarian options. Share several plates amongst friends in the intimate dining room with Spanish style murals and high back leather chairs. We also have an eclectic attic with slanted ceilings and low windows which is great for small parties. Don't forget to visit us in the summer where you can enjoy tapas on our Mediterranean- style deck with lovely al fresco ambiance. And most importantly, be sure to try our house made Sangria (white or red) or choose a lovely Spanish Cava or wine from our Wine Menu. Want to bring your own wine, we offer a $25 corkage fee as well.

“Friendly and welcoming, very tasty food.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2012

I was at Tapas restaurant on Christmas eve with my husband and 2 sons. The service was prompt and friendly and the food outstanding. Our particular favourites were the portobello mushrooms with brie, the patates bravas and the beef carpaccio.

“Excellent food in a cosy atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2012

We enjoyed an excellent tapas dinner in this reataurant. Inside one would completely forget being in the middle of the Canadian Rockies town, as the atmosphere makes you feel as being in Spain.

“OK - but very overpriced”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2012

Liked the ambiance and the service but this place is ridiculously overpriced. The food was decent but nothing rave worthy.

For example, we got bread ($6) + 1/2 litre of sangria ($16) + Tapas Gambas (4 shrimp in sauce) ($15) + + Portobello mushrooms (2 medium sized caps with onions and brie) ($12) and we paid over 50 (not including tip) and left hungry.

I have no problem paying for a good meal but this fell short (in both flavor and value) imo.

“Wonderful food and friendly service!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2012

This is a small, cosy spot with a terrific food. The menu has lots of choice. Our selections were flavourful and beautifully presented. Wait staff are friendly and knowledgable. Definitely recommend. Make a reservation on Open Table to guarantee seating.
