“Great Value and Friendly staff”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 16, 2012

Is it a 5 star hotel? Oh no! But I was enroute Kamloops and just required a hotel for 1 night. The hotel itself is nothing flashy. The room itself again was your run of the mill budget hotel room! BUT it was clean and comfortable. The king size bed was great. AC was provided by a window shaker, but it kept the room cool. Had a nice desk to use my computer, Huge flat screen TV, nice bar size fridge. For the value, one got a lot. And the Staff were great. Very friendly and polite. All I wanted was a clean, quiet room and I got much more. If I was going through Hinton un the future, i would stay here again. Its right along the Trans Canada Highway and Tim Hortons is just down the street. Maybe the only negative thing is that the door does not automatically lock, you have to turn the knob, but I'm pretty sure 99.99% of the population can do that--lol. Very happy with my 1 night stay.

Room Tip: Call directly to get best price!! I saved $20 by calling vice making an online reservation

i have had the chance at staying in this hotel many time as i love to snowboard. Jasper is way too expensive to stay in.The Twin pines has a great restaurant with a very fun lounge. The food is reasonably price with ample portions. The staff is very accomidating and always ready to make you comfortable. The rooms are decent and are very clean. If anyone is planning on going to Jasper i recommend staying here for the price and the food.

We stayed for 2 nights in this Inn . Conveniently located by the Highway , cheaper than Jasper hotels we found our stay very enjoyable.
Rooms are clean , staff is friendly. Could not ask for more in a Motor Inn .

The room was modern and very comfortable. All the amenities, and the staff very friendly and efficient. The dining room with attached lounge was excellent. As a solo traveler, I felt very comfortable here. I have stayed in many motor inns, this by far was the best. It's not the newest, but it is clean, and updated and I will definitely stay again!

The hotel is OK. Tip: The first "town" you reach heading toward the national parks is a suburb. Drive through it on the freeway and you will reach the real Hinton. No breakfast, although the IGA Supermarket across the road has great Breakfast Specials. Room was good, clean, good internet. It was a bit noisy, and the kids up stairs must have been practicing Irish Step Dancing. The problem was in the booking. Hinton is a small town, but has LOTS of hotels. We traveled on a holiday weekend, so booked ahead. Other similar hotles had posted prices 1/3 lower than our hotel. When we registered, 2 other couples walked in, asked the rate, and were quoted a rate 1/3 lower than ours. The hotel did NOT reduce our rate. We were not amused. Don't bother to reserve in this town. You won't have a problem getting a room - and you'll pay less.
