“Actually just called De Dutch on all the signs”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 13, 2013 via mobile

Couldnt get "just pancakes" had to come with all kinds of weird toppings

Odered Dutch Bennie instead, ham and Edam cheese, side green salad or fruit cup

All on toast, yes not a muffin, with hollandaise, eggs not poached, sunny side up

As a result whites over cooked and thin, larger than the toast and the yolks ok

“Dutch pancakes - pannekoek”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 6, 2013

every now and then I must have a Dutch "pannekoek" to reconnect with my roots. I visit less often now, because their prices have gone up too much during the past years.

“My favorite breakfast in town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 21, 2013

Great little restaurant right on South Fraser Way near BCAA. A bit hard to find as it's tucked in back, but well worth the effort. Pannekoeks are not your plain old flapjacks, but delicious, plate sized and full of little morsels of cheese, meat, onion and, well, just about anything you could want. If you don't want a Pannekoek, they have a full range of breakfast entrees for any taste. One of my favorites is the Canuck Toast, but you have to be hungry. The service is fast and friendly. They are a bit more expensive that average, but well worth it and a nice change from your basic breakfast. I almost forgot to mention, they also do a very nice lunch.

“Good Ingredients Well Prepared”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 21, 2013

For a nourishing breakfast checkout this family-run restaurant. Prices reflect that only quality fresh ingredients are used by De Dutch including genuine maple syrup, turkey bacon & free run eggs. The De Dutch specialty is pannekoeken from the Netherlands. Similar to a thick crepe pannekoekens are filled with savoury & sweet toppings. Also offered are eggs bennie, omelets, oatmeal, bagels, yogurt & granola, etc. Depending on your entrée you can choose salad or fresh fruit. My favourite is the Canuck French Toast: French toast, eggs cooked your way and back bacon (and I mean “your” way). Two weeks ago I mentioned to the owner Tom that my scrambled eggs were fine, but different than usual. Upon arrival this week Tom gave specific instructions to the cook. Now that’s quality personalized service.
