“Clayburn Village Tea House”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

I am in agreement with "gnotnip" and "Joanne D" with their reviews - definitely a step back in time to a little shop you might find in jolly olde England. Enjoy a nice light lunch or cup of tea and scone. Don't forget to bring the kiddies for their pick of candy from the hundreds of little candy jars reminiscent of the the fifties and earlier - you must be prepared to tell them stories of your own childhood treats! You'll also find some interesting gourmet deli items for yourself as well. Do some research on the local area - this was once a pioneer site of Abbotsford/Matsqui brick factories so you'll still see a few original homes of that era.

“Country Tea House and Store”

Very nice tea room with great baking. If you want a huge selection of penny candy sold from jars this is your place. Also a large pantry load of international gourmet food items not always easy to find elsewhere..

Great place; quaint "village" atmosphere, love the store and coffee shop area. So nice to enjoy great soups and scones with Devonshire cream and jam with tea. Love it.
