This is an appealing place right beside the freeway. It seems obvious that freeway noise would be an issue, and if your room is on the freeway side the noise is noticeable but it was not an issue for us.

We paid for an above standard room, a junior suite I think they called it. It was on the top floor (4th) looking south - freeway side. It was a huge room with separate bedroom area and two flat panel TVs. We did not get the jacuzzi suite which I think is another step up in cost. The freeway traffic noise is there but it was not as bad as I thought it would be and did not bother us. The place is easy to find and there was no issue with check in or out. It seems the place has lots of conference facilities but we did not use any. We did eat in the connected White Spot restaurant which we enjoyed.

The only thing that could have been better was the bed. We did not find it comfortable and therefore did not have the best sleep.

This is a very nice property and, as always, it depends how much you paid if you are trying to evaluate value for money. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again if the price was right. My only problem with the room was that the air conditioner would not stay on so it got very stuffy, despite the fact it was only in the low 20's during the day outside. The tub drained very poorly and the light behind the bathroom vanity flickered on and off. Also, no fan in the bathroom. As others have pointed out, this property simply needs some maintenance. It's nice, clean, and conveniently located. I had a room that wasn't on the freeway side so it was quiet as well.

Lacking ammenities in the room, Front Desk Service is courteous, but verrrrry slow. Missed my wake up call. Furniture and decor is a bit worn out, The beds were BRUTAL. Very hard, and cheap pillows, and small towels.I will stay at the Coast at the highway interchange next time. Out of town, so if you need anything extra you have to drive for it.
It was a cheap rate, but not as good a value as the other hotels in the area.

It's a fair way out of town but easy to access with a car, parking is rather limited though.
The staff were plesent enough, meals were fine, accomidation fine. Generaly a fairly average hotel and about what I'd expect.

We just showed up tonight (though I checked rates online first) and were offered a rate over 40 dollars cheaper than what I would have reserved it for.

The lady at the front desk was quick and polite and obviously knew what she was doing.

The bathroom was well laid out with plenty of towels, and shampoo/soap/etc.

The bed was comfortable, though no comparison for the Sheraton beds - but at the price makes them seem just a little more comfortable.

The room is out-dated and I've never quite figured out why floral bedspreads and unmatched upholstered furniture appear in hotels rather than just solid colours. I'm assuming it's just cheaper for them?

Kind of wish we had a fridge, but we do have 2 sinks and a coffee machine.

Free internet connection, that's nice.

We are right next to a highway, however, but the window blocks most of the sound out. Also, we're playing Mel Brooks movies on the old bubble-screen TV so that helps too.

The hotel was comfortable and clean. The rooms looked rather 'dated', but were clean. There is no ventilation fans in the bathrooms, so the room and hallways tended to get quite warm and humid with all of the showers going. The beds are comfortable and yes, it is on a major freeway, but we found that if you kept your windows closed you could not really hear the traffic. The air conditioning worked great and was appreciated as the weather outside was in the high twentys to low thirtys. There is an ajoining restaurant, but we felt the service was poor and the food was less than adequate. The hotel is convenient to many good restaurants as well as fast food outlets. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The hotel is alright - the room was clean and the staff were helpful. The attached restaurant is convenient and the food was good. Since Abby is small enough, it's no problem navigating from this hotel - especially since it is right on the highway. Unfortunately that also means that you shouldn't open your window if you want to sleep. With the windows closed it's quieter. The wireless was problematic, but free. The exercise room was clean and sunny (skylights gave it a nice feel). Best part - convenient location and attached restaurant. Worst part - loud highway nearby.
