We hiked this trail in the snow. We heard redwings in the reeds and saw ducks and coots on the lake. Geese and hawks were flying overhead. This is park is worth a visit any time of the year.

There was still lots of snow on the ground and ice on the lake making the walk quite solitary and peaceful. The camping spaces looked like they would provide a degree of privacy. The nature hike area through the marshy area was well done.

The good thing is that every spot is waterfront! But it's always ALWAYS fully booked. You need to book your spot months and months in advance of your visit. Good luck just showing up.

Had an awesome walk here and even though it was December, it still held a lot of beauty to it. Grab a Tim Horton's hot chocolate or coffee before you go because it can get cold on the point.

Always a winner for those new to camping, small families or the camping warrior who wants some fun. You do have to book pretty much right when they open the booking window as this is a very popular spot and books up very quickly with past campers and new alike. Won't disappoint for a night or a week a great camping experience on the lake itself. Have fun and be safe always!
