Full of campers and a dog ran out in front of my car. Fortunately I was going real slow and dog seemed ok. Beach is narrow but ok. Thought it would be better from reviews.

Just spent a week there and it's amazing. Private sites with private beaches. We had a spot on the north side with some shade which was welcome on many days. There was lots to see and do there and in the neighbourhood.

But be prepared for the bugs which can be annoying - we took a screen shelter which helped. And also be prepared for the wind. Everyone warned us but we still weren't ready. On a perfect day it's not bad, but in a week we encountered two strong storms that played havoc with our tents and shelter. In addition, it seemed normal for a strong northerly wind to spring up in the afternoon even on a "calm" day. So even though it was gorgeous, I'd think twice about returning without an RV.

Nice place to camp or visit. I love how you can almost walk to the other side of the lake...so cool

The campsites are excellent, lots of privacy and well laid out. Very helpful attendant too.

Haynes Point Provincial Park is literally in the middle of Osoyoos lake. Great area for bird observation. The lake is one of the warmest in Western Canada.
