Description: Opened for business in 2006 as Osoyoos Gelato and quickly established itself as the #1 gelato outlet in the Okanagan. In 2014 changed name to Roberto's, although other than the name everything stayed the same. Some of the purest, most flavourful gelato you'll be able to find!

Huge range of flavours....delicious! Mmmmmmm :-) Located in very central place - you can't miss it! Doesn't open until late morning, so don't get caught out!

Having been to Italy and an avid ice cream lover, this place rocked my world. Small selection of homemade, buttery ice cream. Unique and interesting flavours that rolled around on the palate, leaving a clean yet buttery finish. Flavours such as Lavender as well as the expected Hazelnut, were sublime. Fresh Pomegranate and Blackberry was a big hit. I miss it already.

I guess I was thinking more along the lines of an ice cream shop with 100's of flavors. This place was not that. But good all the same!

Disappointed in the lack of choice. There are many flavors but most are variations of a theme (ie. different kinds of chocolate or vanilla-based gelato). Average price is around $5 and we could not mix and match flavors (unlike other gelato bars we go to). Despite the Osoyoos heat, this was not a place I would return to.

We are extremely grateful to everyone who takes time to write a review, good or bad. But occasionally we get a review that just boggles our minds. This reviewer very astutely observes that most of our flavours are vanilla or chocolate based. For all who weren't aware: EVERY GELATO OR ICECREAM in the whole world is either vanilla or chocolate based. But this doesn't mean that all flavours are therefore merely variations on a theme. Although most of our flavours start with our awesome in-house made vanilla base, you can hardly call peppermint, hazelnut, pistachio, walnut maple, honey lavender, sea salt caramel, cappuccino or coconut variations of vanilla. The same goes for our sorbetto flavours, for which we reserve one third of the space in our display case. Our mango is outstanding and far better than most, our Aztec dark chocolate and blackberry merlot are flavours you won't find anywhere else. More variations?

We object to this reviewer's statement that our prices average around $5, since it is more like $4.50 and taxes are included in all of our prices. Not being able to mix and match? This is absolutely NOT TRUE. In fact we encourage people to mix flavours and every scoop can be different, EVEN in a small serving. And in our own experience this is not always the case at other gelaterias. It makes us wonder if this writer has us mixed up with someplace else?

To conclude, we are always sorry when people have been unable to find what they were looking for. Fortunately, there are but a few, and the majority of our customers are extremely happy with the assortment of 24 choices we offer out of an active repertoire of around 50 different rotating flavours.
