“Perfectly prepared and tasty eggs benny!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 28, 2012

First time there, went for a quick breakfast. Place was busy when we walked in so we sat at an uncleaned table next to the front window. I waited a while while one of our party ordered the food (you have to order it at the service desk). One of our party went and borrowed a rag and wiped our own table which we did not mind as the staff was all busy behind the counters. The food was made fairly quickly and when it arrived it looked and smelled delicious. I had eggs benny and a chai tea. Both tasted very good, and the eggs had real (!!) hollandiase sauce. Poached egg was perfectly done and looked to be cooked the old fashioned way! A few slices of apple also decorated the plate (no greasy hashbrowns or cold soggy toast here). Atmosphere is relaxing, decor is ok, not my fave (the new modern, dark, or black decor, posters and want ads all over the entranceway wall, scratched up concrete floors, high ceilings. But the garage door front window was a breath of fresh air, and the price was very reasonable along with awesome food, makes it highly worth another visit just to try more of their menu.

“Great spot for lunch - if you want fine dining - please stay in Vancouver.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 20, 2012

6 or 8 sanwhiches trending on the healthier side, a couple of breakie items and a soup dejour. We had the big turkey club, veggie box, carrot/coriander soup, good coffee - shared it all and had plenty. It was all good but especially the veggie box.

“Best eggs benny yet”

Gets my vote for best eggs benny. Home made, yolk set just right, portions perfect... pairs particularly well with humongous latte!

“could be so much better...”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 6, 2012

stopped in for coffee on our way out of town...menu is limited, drink menu isn't really listed so to decide you just go with it and hope they have it. the whole waiting in a seating area and feeling like you're in the way is a bit weird.

“just ok”

I got a quick coffee & sandwich while driving true town. Both where below average. The service was ok. Not what I expected after reading all the great reviews.
