Great rooms, lovely view - the lake view rooms are the only way to go. However be aware that there is NO privacy at the resort. Adjoining and upper balconies look right across or into your own spaces. Balconies are too close to adjoining room's bedroom/LR windows. You must love kids because the pool noise is heavy from about 11 am to 8:00 pm. They are having a great time, so if you are sitting out enjoying a drink on your balcony, peace and quiet will be elusive.

Rooms are lovely, spacious and a well equipped. No problems there. Beds very comfortable and the A/C is fabulous at keeping the rooms cool on the hotter days. The elevators are problematic as their are only two in the north area and one in the south area. Waits are long and when checking out add extra time to get in and out of the parking area.

Location as noted by other reviewers is great but it is a resort in a very odd place. The downtown is right behind you and you are next door to a pub and the grocery store. As the town develops I am sure other resort style places will pop up fixing this location challenge.

Room Tip: Lakeside only. Ground floor is best for families with young kids in and out of the pool all day. Couples should stay on the 2nd to 4th floors. The higher up you go the less noise from the pool.

We bought a deal on living social for our stay it was an excellent deal! It's our second year doing so, we had an amazing time, very nice hotel.. The restaurant is a bit pricey but good food and wine and again the service was excellent !

That is wonderful that you enjoyed your stay and took advantage of the "Living Social" promotion.

Would love to have to back next summer!

Stayed in two bedroom Lakeview suite. Fantastic choice for our family of four. Full kitchen, dining table and living room to accommodate everyone. Comfortable beds. 2 bathrooms! Location is stellar - poolside day, at the lake (best spot on the lake with lots of beach to lay out or play on) or strolling on the main drag, this place has best location! Pool was beautiful salt water with a small waterside, two hot tubs and a perfect temperature. You can get drinks by the pool if so inclined. No life guard so keep kids at arms length or bring their life jackets. Staff friendly.
Gripes - elevator system was brutal. There were spiders and webs in suite and on the outside deck. Everytime I sat outside on our patio I was flicking jumping spiders of me. Eww. We were grabbing them with tissue and tossing them into the toilet but the walls told us that previous guests had smacked quite a few on the walls and ceilings. The suite was clean upon first glance but we did start to notice spills down the walls towards baseboards, previous guest items behind dressers etc.
No kids club or activities.
No room service here.
Wine Bar Patio would be fine for an adult couple but not appropriate for the predominately family clientele that we saw staying here. We suggested to management that they consider a funky french fries and wood fired pizza menu explicitly for Watermark room service. (considering how sad the Osoyoos eatery situation is, a cool menu of fun inventive family friendly food that could be delivered to my room while I sit with my family on our deck facing the gorgeous lake - I mean how awesome would that be?!)
Still, despite a few gripes, we will stay here again and will be making this spot our yearly summer tradition - the location can't be beat. A splurge that we would recommend if you are able to.

Spent three nights in a one room suite. Loved the room, location, spa and pool area. We ate at the wine and tapas bar one evening. Food was delicious but more suited to adults as opposed to families. All the staff that we dealt with were pleasant and helpful. Would definitely go back!

Beautiful hotel. Stayed here for 4 days for a National Slow Food conference. The rooms were clean and view from the balcony was exceptional. The staff were great. The food was amazing and local. I definitely recommend this hotel for people who want to relax and explore the organic farms and wine regions of Okanagan valley.
