We recently stayed at the Sahara courtyard inn while working in osoyoos, we have stayed previously. I must say that the courtyard looks fabulous all the new paving stones, tables, and grassy areas makes the courtyard so much more inviting. While we were there rooms were under renovations and they are looking fabulous. I can't wait to see the finished suites. Things to note are the friendly staff and fabulous owners. The Internet is fast the rooms are large and very comfortable, all the rooms open up into the private courtyard with pool, BBQ and lounging areas. The Sahara is close to the beach ,and close to all amenities.

We would like to thank Gary , Suhki and family for having us at your fabulous inn

We have been coming here for years.
Probably about 30-40 relatives.
Nothing fancy but everything works, lots of updates the last time we were there, summer 2012.
Great for kids and they will allow a dog on approval from the management.
Nice outdoor BBQ and lawn area for games etc.
We will be back in 2015!

Room Tip: There are several choices from the simple bed/bathroom type to a bedroom/kitchen/living room type rooms. Summer nights can be noisy down by the BBQ so getting a room farther away, if you need your sleep, is maybe what you want.

We booked this accommodation for a two night weekend stay. We booked a room with two beds but were offered a room with a separate bedroom as we had three adults in our group upon check-in.

Our room was somewhat outdated but was clean and comfortable. Some of the lights were quite dim and the light fixture above the kitchen table had most of the bulbs burnt out and the two which were lit were different from each other. Not a big deal as we never ate at the table but wasn't overly impressed with this.

The small old style tv was on a low table, in order to see the tv at least when lying down on the beds we brought in a plastic container from the back of my truck to set the tv on.

While at the Inn there was someone there reglazing the bathtubs so the owners are modernizing the rooms. Our bathtub was an old style rosy colour so pretty dated but everything was clean.

The best part of this location is the courtyard which I understand was upgraded this Spring. It reminded me of a Mexican style resort with a nice pool, lots of tile walkways, grassy areas and plenty of tables. The pool was clean and the water was quite comfortable and refreshing. It was coolish getting in but far from being cold. We spent most of out time in the Courtyard.

The Sage pub is right nearby and we went there two evening and the drinks and food was great and reasonable. There is also a liquor store at this location.

The beach is a short distance away as well as a nice park with grassy areas, washrooms etc.

One odd thing was the office was closed Sunday morning until about 8:30am. Several people wanted to check out and were waiting for the office to open. I'm not sure what happened but the office was open when we checked out. I know some of the guests were upset and perturbed about this.

I would go back malnly because of the courtyard. I think September would be a good time as it wasn't that busy in the courtyard.

Great pool area with nice flowers, pool, wading pool for kids, grassy play area and all rooms have direct ground floor access to the area. Wonderful bbq area with quality equipment. Room was "tired". Did have some new paint and carpet but bathtub was circa 1970, kitchen cabinets and applicances were same vintage. Bed was not great with worn out cheap linens and blankets. Room was relatively clean.. Not great value at $ 160/night but all rooms in Osoyosos are high in the summer months.

This was our second stay at this motel and we really enjoyed it there. Our kitchenette was clean and the staff are great. The motel has a beautiful courtyard with a swimming pool, patio tables, picnic tables and a BBQ area. We spent most of our time just sitting on our lawn chairs in the courtyard. The beach, pub and beer and wine store is just a 5 minute walk. One evening we walked to the RattleSnake Amusement area for Ice Cream which was probably a 15 minute walk. I would definitely recommend this motel to anyone who does not need luxurious accommodations.
