Over the previous Christmas holidays we took a driving trip east, stopping here and there, Cornwall Ontario being on the list. We discovered Truffles Burger Bar late at night, we were hungry and Cornwall being a fairly small town seemed to be shut down for the night. We actually were looking for a different restaurant that came up on the GPS but it was closed. A couple of doors down we saw people coming and going into a non-descript restaurant. We walked in to a lively restaurant, jazz music playing, good vibe, anart deco kind of decor and truly great burgers. The prices were reasonable (except for the $100.00 burger!) and we really enjoyed our visit there. I had the Crossfit Burger which was actually two portobello mushrooms in place of the bun and very nicely cooked beef. It was very messy but delicious. It was late but we did not feel rushed in any way. We enjoyed the visit very much.
