“Good for an overnight.”
Reviewed April 20, 2013 via mobile

This motel is good if you need to overnight in Dryden. The room is dated but nice for the night, has a comfortable bed, mini fridge, tv and wifi. The best part of this place is the price, it only cost $75. That's what makes it so good for overnighting.

My wife and I stopped in Dryden overnight on a decent trip to Thunder Bay. We picked this place based on other reviews we read on Trip Advisor. We were very satisfied. Our room, #40, was small but clean. Carpet, paint and furniture was all newer. It also had a nice fridge and flat screen TV. All this for $70 plus tax. ( our only issue was some incomplete painting in the bathroom. It looks like a new tub surround was recently installed but the painter never came back to finish the trimming. Minor issue)

If you are traveling or need to stop in Dryden for a few days. I would recommend this place. If you aren't looking for anything special (e.g Pool) then this is the place for you. $75 approx per night. Room was clean. It was a bit dated however was clean and quite. It is right next to McDonalds (if your looking for so fast food). On the main highway. So easy to get up and go.

Room Tip: If you just need a place to sleep. This is a Great value.

Bargin room at just $73. Friendly checkin and given directions to local amentities. No coffee facilities in room but otherwise happy as McDonalds and Tim Hortons nextdoor. Good supply of clean towels and comfy bed.

Stayed here on our way to points north. Clean rooms, ok room for parking boat trailers (they could handle 4-5 rigs) McDonalds right next door, Walmart just down the street. NO pets allowed. Stayed in August as well, same experience.

We selected the town and country motel on price, location and availability. First problem was parking, the front of the property was in the process of being resurfaced so we had to park on a dug up gravel surface, not ideal for motorbikes. When we got in the rooms we thought we had travelled back in time 30 years, very 1970's with green bathroom fittings and a through the window air conditioner that made noises like it was 30 years old.
With that said, the bed was reasonably comfortable- we've slept in worse, the bed linen was clean, the bathroom was clean with good towels and toiletries and the shower was hot and powerful. All in all if you are just passing through and want a cheap bed for the night then the Town and Country serves this purpose well. Apart from the age old decor, it was fine.

One night stay, reception smelled like a Chinese take away, rooms run down, desperately in need of updating, very 1970's. To be honest I hated it, it felt grubby and dirty, although to be fair my wife and our friends in the next room were all happy enough, they all thought it was clean which is why I stayed....the air conditioning was so noisy you could hardly hear yourself think, the car park was in the middle of being re surfaced and no attempt made to leave an area clear for customers.
