I visit our Steel Recycling Facilites in Surrey, BC once a quarter and I'm glad I found the Executive Plaza. Service is verg good and my Rooms are always setup well for the Business Traveler and they have free WiFi Service which was a Plus. I love the Copper Club for Breakfast and invite folks to joinf me there to begin our day. As usual, the Front Desk Staff was top notch. I have recommended the Executive Plaza to my fellow Business Travelers and asked our Regional Director our Canadia Operations to spread the word as well.

Room Tip: I like all the rooms but in this case I prefer the upper floors...

I can't rate this hotel highly enough. I live in the uk but my husband was staying here on business when he suffered a stroke and was admitted to hospital in Vancouver. I flew out immediately and was allowed to use his room with no issue at all. The night I arrived they were expecting me and when I went to the bar for a glass of wine to help me sleep was given it on the house.

In the morning I got in the lift with an employee who knew which floor I needed and offered me a lift to the hospital. It was like everyone in the hotel was aware. Every day I got a lift to the hospital and every evening and morning the wonderful reception staff would ask me how my husband was. Extending my stay was no problem. All in all it was a great place to stay during a difficult time. I ate there every night and the food was great, not crazy portions, just perfect. Thank you a million times over for being such a caring bunch xxx

Dear Horrogatemum family,
In our world today, many famlies get seperated because of work reasons. Your husband's company was kind enough to inform us of the situation. Our team's #1 priority was what we could do for you, to make the trip and visit as comfortable as possible. We thank for your kind words of praise on our restaurant. Your thanks of a "million thanks" is very generous.
We will make sure that all staff members involved with your stay will be informed of your guest comments. Sincerely, Alex Kempenaar FOM

Front desk staff was friendly. Room was immaculate & in perfect order so it appears that poor previous reviews were acted on. Located in an area with lots of ammenities and quick access to Vancouver. Continental breakfast was a full buffet style with eggs benny, sausages, fruit, drinks etc, etc. I travel a lot and this room cost less than a bit of a dump with no breakfast elsewear.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights to attend a seminar at the nearby Red Robinson Theatre. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and had nice amenities. I didn't eat in the hotel restaurant but instead chose to eat at the co-located pub, which was fine.

My rating is a strong four - my only gripe was that the pool closed at 10 p.m. - not unreasonable except that the seminar days were long.

I drove from the airport there and had to put up with the resulting traffic - took over an hour. The return trip took 32 minutes (Sunday night). Other attendees had taken the SkyTrain to the nearby Lougheed Mall (7 Minute walk).

I rated the breakfast as a three since I never tried it. The rate offered by the conference was actually a little worse than the online rate :)

I'd stay here in a heart beat again.

This hotel is pretty average, but it's not expensive so that's okay. In many places it looks like it has had its day, but they could easily be fixed.

The furniture and equipment in the room wasn't in the best shape anymore / partly broken. The bathroom fan and air con / heating were very loud. The gym also needs a facelift, and when I went it was out of hygienic wipes.

On the plus side, I really liked the beauty products (especially the body lotion) and the strong hair dryer. The room was equipped with both a fridge and a make-up mirror, little luxuries that I miss in many other hotels.

Everyone on the staff that I dealt with was professional and friendly, and the housekeeping was good, too.

Guests get a complimentary 15 minute massage, which was a nice touch.

I enjoyed the free wifi (which just worked, without me having to log in every day), sadly it was very slow and kept dropping entirely at times, so it was not suitable for actual work.

If things were fixed up just a little bit, this hotel could be really good.
