Have eaten here often and the food is consistently good. It is basic fare, nothing fancy, but never disappointing.

We read some of the reviews about this place and so we ate there for dinner a few days ago with expectations of some good Italian food. We were expecting clean, good, relaxed dining. We instead ate in a place that was not that appetizing and the food was not that great.

As far as the room goes, it was dirty looking, the cooler section that the desserts were kept in was dirty. The tables were like they were for a patio. The room was dumpy. The food was not that great. The salad was not what I liked. It was a tomato and bocconcini salad and the basil was in form of a pesto that felt store bought.

We ordered two pasta dishes, a cannelloni that was bland and a spaghetti that was actually good. But the room was a dump, it felt old, unclean, cramped and just made me feel itchy. I am reading good reviews about it and I can not understand why.

A better place to try, over in Port Moody, is Rosa's, not that I work there, but we went to the Golden Boot as an alternate to Rosa's and to see which we liked more. This place (The Golden Boot) was one of the dumpier restaurants I have been to in a while.

We have been with friends but often we go as a couple for first rate comfort food and a wonderful experience. I am reluctant to share this one because there are more and more patrons but this family run operation deserves the recognition for being an outstanding oasis in the Austin area of Coquitlam where there are more pizza places than one can count.I suggest a bottle of Syrah with a Insalata Caprese and a Pizza Modenese to share followed by an espresso and dessert f you dare. We often order an extra pasta dish for the next day.

We've been loyal customers "forever". Excellent, simple, meals reasonably priced. Service is usually very good although they can get very busy and the servers are simply run off their feet at times.

The wine list is very basic, but adequate.

Even with their expanded seating capacity, the kitchen does a good job of keeping up and we rarely notice waiting for our meals. Portion sizes are good and, consequently, we rarely are able to order any of the tasty desserts.

This is not a restaurant for a quiet tête-à-tête. When they get busy, which is most of the time, the noise level is considerable. Go for a good time with family or friends rather than an intimate dining experience. And keep an eye on the soccer game playing on their big screen tv's.

Good food and atmosphere- family owned and staffed - open kitchen- big screen is always on for the Lions and Canucks. Small place but worth the wait. People line up for theses fad restaurants around town but I don't even bother. There are so many excellent places right here and this is definitely one. They cook the pizza and the pasta perfectly- the Italian way. Thin crust deliciousness or bountiful pasta with exceptional sauces fill the menu and they often have an osso buco special which is excellent. Friendly and put together very well!
