Highly recommend dining at Altitudes Bistro. It is a must when visiting Grouse Mountain. The views are just breathtaking and spectacular! Our waitress Amarys was very down to earth and helpful. She had a bubbly personality and contributed to our wonderful dining experience. Amarys took photo's of my daughter and I whilst dining and told us all we needed to know about Grouse Mountain. Their menu accommodates for those with Coeliac Disease with various choices to choose from, not like other restaurants where you only have a couple of options. Meal portions are BIG and you definitely get your money's worth.

Nice restaurant and reasonably priced considering it is at the top of a mountain overlooking Vancouver. Pick a clear day to take advantage of the view. Food was good and there are vegetarian options. They are a very relaxed staff and let our 10 month old daughter crawl around as we ate!

You can climb the mountain by doing the Grouse Grind or take a gondola up. We did the Grouse Grind which made my beer taste that much sweeter at the top! The Gondola cost $10 to go down the mountain.

We had warm bowls of soup while waiting for our tour to the top of the wind turbine. The tomato bisque was flavorful and complemented by the choice of crispy calamari served with pea shoots and tart dipping sauce. The service was fantastic, and although the price was a bit steep at $8 for soup and $12 for the calamari, the ambiance made it worth it!

We love having lunch atop Grouse Mountain after completing the Grouse Grind. The well deserved drinks are fabulous! We had the hummus appetizers and drinks, and the hummus is fantastic.

We stopped here for lunch after hiking the Grouse Grind. Whilst the waitress was very friendly that just didn't make up for the dreadful service. We had to wait ages for her to take our order and then when our food came it was without cutlery. In the end we had to get up and go and find our own. Our starters were nice but the mains were average. An offputting mountain of bland mashed potato came with the steak and the fish tacos were boring at best and slathered in a generic mayo sauce. I'd say just come for a drink and enjoy the food but I can't even recommend doing that as the cocktails were awful. Definitely the worst we had during our week in Vancouver and couldn't even finish them. Tasted like artificial rasberry slushy mix out of a fast food outlet. Also had to ask for the drinks menu three times before it eventually came. Skip it and just have a beer on the deck at the selfserve restaurant downstairs.
